| Purpose:This study aims to develop a survey questionnaire on the current training status and standardized training needs of medical and nursing staff in Liaoning Province, and use this questionnaire to investigate the current training status and standardized training needs of medical and nursing staff. The aim is to comprehensively, objectively, and truly understand their training status and standardized training needs, and provide a theoretical basis for establishing a targeted and operable standardized training course system in the future.Method:This study is divided into the following two parts,as follows:Part 1: Develop the "Survey Questionnaire on the Current Situation and Standardized Training Needs of Medical Nurses"By consulting relevant literature and combining the content and requirements of the "Medical Nurse Training Outline(Trial)" and the "Hospital Nurse Training Guide Manual",semi-structured interviews and two rounds of Delphi expert consultation were conducted to form a predictive questionnaire.A preliminary experiment was conducted on 50 medical and nursing staff using a predictive questionnaire to test the content validity of the questionnaire, forming the official version of the "Questionnaire on the Current Training Status and Standardized Training Needs of Medical and Nursing Staff".Part 2: Survey of the current situation and standardized training needs of medical nursing staff in Liaoning ProvinceUsing a questionnaire survey method and strictly following the inclusion and exclusion criteria, medical caregivers from various levels of medical institutions in Liaoning Province from August 2022 to October 2022 were selected as the research subjects. The general demography characteristics of medical nurses were investigated with the General Demographic Data Questionnaire, and the training status and standardized training needs of medical nurses were investigated with the Questionnaire on the Training Status and Standardized Training Needs of Medical Nurses.SPSS26.0 software is used for statistical analysis of data, with measurement data represented by mean ± standard deviation, and counting data described by frequency and composition ratio. Results:Part 1: Develop the "Survey Questionnaire on the Current Situation and Standardized Training Needs of Medical Nurses"This study developed a survey questionnaire on the current training status and standardized training needs of medical nursing staff, consisting of a total of 24 items, covering two dimensions of training status and standardized training needs. The training status includes 10 items, and the standardized training needs include 14 items. The content validity index(I-CVI)of each item in the questionnaire is between 0.87 and 1.00,and the overall average content validity index(S-CVI/Ave)of the questionnaire is 0.992.Part 2: Survey of the current situation and standardized training needs of medical nursing staff in Liaoning Province1.Training statusThis study surveyed a total of 4543 medical caregivers,of which 90.71% had participated in different forms of training, but only 37.13% had obtained relevant certificates;9.29% of people have not participated in any form of training;30.97%and 26.77% respectively meet the requirements of standardized theory and practical training duration;60.79% of those who participated in the training were trained at their hospital;53.46% and 50.11% of the teaching staff are hospital nurses and institutional training teachers; The highest proportion of difficulties encountered during training is delaying one’s own work, accounting for 31.76%,followed by not liking the internet, accounting for 26.30%;The highest proportion of theoretical teaching content is patient life care; The highest proportion of practical training content is patient cleaning and care.2.Standardized training needsThe results show that both theoretical and practical teaching methods have the highest number of participants, with face-to-face and centralized training being preferred; In terms of the rationality of online teaching, more people choose systematic learning, accounting for 54.44%;It is more reasonable to choose a teaching duration of 21-30 minutes, accounting for 31.92% and 31.50% respectively; The majority of teaching methods choose operation demonstrations and multimedia lectures; In terms of training teachers,65.00% of people hope that the teaching experts are nursing experts, followed by senior nursing staff and nursing backbone, accounting for 53.97% and 50.25% respectively;72.02% of people do not understand the "Medical Nurse Training Program";In addition to the "Outline",94.74% of people choose "None" for the skills they want to master.Conclusion:1.This study developed a survey questionnaire on the current training status and standardized training needs of medical nursing staff. After expert consultation and validity testing, the questionnaire has good validity and can be used as an operational tool to quantify the current training status and standardized training needs of medical nursing staff.2.Most medical nurses in Liaoning Province have received training in different ways, but the training content is not comprehensive and systematic; At the same time, there is often a phenomenon of insufficient training duration, fewer holders of certificates, and a wide variety of certificates.3.When constructing a standardized training course system for medical nursing staff,it should be based on the content of the "Outline",mainly in the form of face-to-face and centralized training, with practical operations and multimedia teaching as the main focus.4.In terms of training teachers, nursing experts, senior nursing staff, and nursing backbone are preferred, and the training duration for each knowledge point is controlled at 21-30 minutes to maintain their attention. |
