Purpose:By means of cross-sectional investigation, the basic information, living and eating habits, anxiety and depression of GERD patients and non-Ger D patients with various TCM syndroms were collected and sorted out,and multi-factor logistics regression analysis was used to explore the risk factors of GERD frequently witnessed in TCM.In order to provide ideas for the treatment and prevention of this disease.Material and method:Using a cross-sectional study method,From December2021 to December 2022,GERD patients and healthy people treated in the gastroenterology outpatient department, ward and rehabilitation center of the Affiliated Hospital of Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine were collected and divided into healthy control group and GERD group(heat stasis of liver and stomach, disharmonious liver and stomach,qi stagnation and phlegm obstruction group,middle-deficiency qi reversal group,qi stagnation and blood stasis group and mixed cold and heat group). The subjects were studied by means of questionnaires, which collected information on general conditions, living and eating habits, anxiety and depression,etc.SPSS27.0 software was used to conduct multi-factor logistics regression analysis of GERD and its independent risk factors for each TCM syndrome type, and combined with literature theoretical research and statistical results to discuss.Results:1.A total of 1158 patients were included in the clinical study, including 400 in the healthy control group,172 in the liver and stomach depression heat group,168 in the liver and stomach disharmony group,162 in the qi stagnation phlegm block group,92 in the moderate deficiency qi reverse group,84 in the qi stagnation and blood stasis group, and 80 in the cold and heat mixed group.2.The Chi-square test and multi-factor logistics regression analysis of GERD related factors showed that in general, age is an independent risk factor for the overall incidence of GERD,and the risk increases in a single direction with the increase of age,and the risk increases 11.387 times for people aged 60-69.Those who were overweight had a 1.919-fold increased risk.In terms of living and eating habits, regular smoking(OR: 3.465,P < 0.05),often stay up late(1.523,P < 0.05),irregular three meals(OR:1.592,P < 0.05),exercise immediately after meals(OR:1.612,P <0.05),often eat high protein food(OR:1.797,P < 0.05),often eat high fat food(OR:2.555,P < 0.05),frequent consumption of carbonated beverages(OR:2.014,P <0.05)were independent risk factors for GERD.3.The analysis of related factors of GERD among TCM syndrome groups showed that,in general, age over 40 was an independent risk factor for all syndrome types except for cold-heat mixed type GERD(P < 0.05),and the risk of liver and stomach depression heat type GERD reached the highest when the age reached 50-59 years old(OR: 5.429,p < 0.05);The prevalence of hepato-gastric discordant GERD reached its first peak at the age of 30-39 years(OR: 27.463,P < 0.05),dropped sharply and then increased with the increase of age,and finally reached its highest at the age of 60-69 years(OR: 210.174,P < 0.05).Overweight was an independent risk factor for GERD of Qi stagnation and phlegm-blocking type(OR: 2.582,P < 0.05)and middle-deficiency qi reverse type(OR: 2.454,P < 0.05).In terms of living and eating habits, anxiety and depression, frequent consumption of high protein food(OR:2.532,P < 0.05)and anxiety(OR: 4.999,P < 0.05)were independent risk factors for liver and stomach depression type GERD.Smoking(OR: 16.734,P < 0.05),staying up late(OR: 3.035,P < 0.05),eating fatty foods(OR: 65.204,P < 0.05),exercising immediately after meals(OR: 9.251,P < 0.05),and anxiety(OR: 10.529,P < 0.05) was an independent risk factor for hepato-stomach disharmony type GERD.Irregular meals(OR: 1.928,P < 0.05),frequent high-fat diet(OR: 2.293,P < 0.05),anxiety(OR: 2.267,P < 0.05),exercise immediately after meals(OR: 1.723,P < 0.05),frequent carbonated beverages(OR: 3.381,P < 0.05)and depression(OR: 2.936,P <0.05)were independent risk factors for Qi-stagnation and phlegm-blocking GERD.Gender being female(OR: 0.613,P < 0.05)and lying down immediately after meal(OR: 0.398,P < 0.05)were protective factors for Qi-stagnation and phlegm-blocking GERD.Frequent smoking(OR: 7.604,P < 0.05),often staying up late(OR: 2.481,P< 0.05),exercise immediately after meals(OR: 3.197,P < 0.05),and anxiety(OR: 2.379,P < 0.05)were independent risk factors for middle-deficiency qi reverse GERD.Smoking(OR: 10.890,P < 0.05),staying up late(OR: 4.051,P < 0.05),eating fatty foods(OR: 4.528,P < 0.05),exercising immediately after meals(OR: 23.175,P <0.05),and anxiety(OR: 8.030,P < 0.05)was an independent risk factor for GERD with Qi stagnation and blood stasis.Frequent smoking(OR: 43.696,P < 0.05),frequent alcohol consumption(OR: 5.041,P < 0.05),frequent consumption of fatty foods(OR: 5.507,P < 0.05),frequent consumption of carbonated beverages(OR:6.640,P < 0.05),and anxiety(OR: 10.896,P < 0.05)was an independent risk factor for the disease of cold and heat mixed GERD.Conclusion:1.Independent risk factors associated with the onset of GERD include age, being overweight, often smoking, often staying up late, irregular meals, exercising immediately after meals, often eating high-protein foods, often eating high-fat foods, often drinking carbonated beverages, anxiety and depression.2.The independent risk factors of liver-stomach heat suppression type GERD included age, high protein diet and anxiety. The independent risk factors of hepato-gastric disconcerting GERD were age, frequent smoking, often staying up late, exercising immediately after meals, often eating high-fat food and anxiety.Independent risk factors for Qi-stagnation and phlegm-inhibiting GERD included male, over 40 years old, overweight, irregular meals, often eat a high-fat diet, anxiety, depression, exercise immediately after meals and frequent consumption of carbonated beverages;Independent risk factors for GERD were over 40 years of age, being overweight, smoking regularly, staying up late often, anxiety, and exercising immediately after meals;Independent risk factors for Qi-stagnation and blood-stasis type GERD included being over 40 years old, smoking, staying up late, eating fatty foods, anxiety and exercising immediately after meals.Independent risk factors for cold and heat mixed GERD include being overweight, frequent smoking, frequent alcohol consumption, frequent consumption of fatty foods, anxiety and frequent consumption of carbonated beverages.
