| Purpose:Based on the method of retrospective analysis,we observed the clinical efficacy of Jianshuanyi Kidney Tongluo Formula combined with Torch Flower Root Tablets in the treatment of proteinuria in idiopathic membranous nephropathy for better application in the treatment of idiopathic membranous nephropathy.Material and method:A total of 437 patients with IMN who attended the outpatient clinic and ward of the Department of Nephrology of the Affiliated Hospital of Liaoning University of Chinese Medicine from January 2020 to August 2022 were selected through the hospital information system(HIS),and a total of 66 patients with IMN who were on continuous medication for 8 weeks were screened according to the diagnostic criteria,TCM evidence and nadir criteria,and grouped according to the different treatment methods,among which 31 patients were treated with torch flower root tablets alone.Among them,31 patients were treated with Torch Flower Root Tablets alone as the control group;35 patients were treated with traditional Chinese medicine soup formula(Astragalus membranaceus 30 g,Radix et Rhizoma prunus 15 g,Cornu Cervi Pantotrichum 15 g,Cuscutae 10 g,Radix et Rhizoma Niubizi 15 g,Radix rehmanniae 15 g,Poria 30 g,Osmanthus 6g,Mudanpi 10 g,Rhizoma Chuanxiong 15 g,Radix Angelicae Sinensis 10 g,Leech 3g,Cicada 6g)combined with Torch Flower Root Tablets.as the observation group.By comparing the qualitative urinary protein,24-hour urinary protein quantification,urinary albumin excretion rate(urinary albumin/random urinary creatinine),plasma albumin and the improvement of clinical symptoms and co-morbidities between the two groups before and after treatment,and comparing the differences between groups,statistical analysis was performed.Results:1.In terms of TCM symptoms: the TCM symptom scores within the two groups were compared before and after treatment,and were effective in improving the patients’ symptoms,with statistical significance(P < 0.05),and the data between the two groups after treatment were compared,and the improvement of TCM symptoms in the observation group was significantly better than that in the control group,with statistical significance(P = 0.004).2.In terms of laboratory tests: in the treatment of urine protein characterization,the total effective rate of the observation group was 85.7%,while the total effective rate of the control group was 67.7%,and the observation group was better than the control group,with statistical significance(P=0.013).In the treatment of 24-hour urine protein quantification,the data before and after treatment within the two groups were compared and were statistically significant(P < 0.05),and the data between the two groups after treatment were compared and the observation group was significantly better than the control group,which was statistically significant(P = 0.027).In the treatment of urinary albumin excretion rate,the data before and after treatment within the two groups were compared and were statistically significant(P < 0.05),and the data between the two groups after treatment were compared and the observation group was significantly better than the control group,which was statistically significant(P =0.013).In the treatment of plasma albumin,the data before and after treatment within the two groups were compared and were statistically significant(P < 0.05),and the data between the two groups after treatment were compared and the observation group was significantly better than the control group,which was statistically significant(P =0.012).3.In terms of efficacy: the total efficacy of Chinese medicine in the observation group was 91.4%,and the total efficacy of the control group was 80.0%;the total efficacy of Western medicine in the observation group was 94.3%,and the total efficacy of treatment for patients with small amount of proteinuria was 100.0%,and the total efficacy of treatment for patients with moderate amount of proteinuria was 95.0%,and the total efficacy of treatment for the control group was 77.4%,and the total efficacy of treatment for patients with small amount of proteinuria was The overall efficacy of the observation group was better than that of the control group,and the efficacy of the treatment of small amount of proteinuria was better than that of medium amount of proteinuria,and there was a significant difference.4.In terms of safety: one patient(2.86%)in the observation group had elevated glutathione transaminase during treatment,which improved after treatment with liver-protective drugs;the rest of the patients did not have any significant adverse reactions.In the control group,one patient showed a slight decrease in white blood cells(3.23%)after two weeks of medication,which could be recovered after stopping the medication;one female patient showed late menstruation(3.23%),which could be recovered after stopping the medication;the rest of the patients did not have any significant adverse reactions.There was no significant difference in adverse reactions after treatment between the two groups by test analysis(P > 0.05).Conclusion:1.Jianshuanyi Kidney Tongluo Formula combined with Torch Flower Root Tablets can significantly improve the clinical symptoms and signs of patients with idiopathic membranous nephropathy.2.The combination of Jianshuanyi Kidney Tongluo Formula and Torch Flower Root Tablet was effective in reducing proteinuria excretion(urinary protein characterization,24-hour urinary protein quantification,urinary microalbumin,urinary albumin excretion rate).3.The therapeutic effect of Jianshuanyi Kidney Tongluo Formula combined with Torch Flower Root Tablets was better than that of patients with small amount of proteinuria than those with moderate amount of proteinuria. |
