Study On The Correlation Between TCM Constitution And Syndrome Differentiation In Patients With Tinea Alopeci

Purpose:The relevant data were obtained through questionnaire survey of patients with Androgenetic alopecia.In order to explore the related factors affecting Androgenetic alopecia,analyze the TCM constitution type of patients with Androgenetic alopecia and the distribution characteristics of syndrome differentiation,explore the correlation between TCM constitution and syndrome type of patients with Androgenetic alopecia,in order to strengthen the understanding of the disease,and provide some reference for the early treatment of Androgenetic alopecia by TCM.Material and method:The patients diagnosed as Androgenetic alopecia in the Department of Dermatology,Affiliated Hospital of Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from November 2021 to November 2022 were selected for TCM constitution questionnaire survey.The collected information will be processed by statistical software SPSS26.0 to obtain the final result.Results:1.General information: a total of 207 patients were collected,including 81 males and 126 females,with a male to female ratio of 1:1.56.The average age was 38.73±1.12 years.The proportion of patients with exacerbation was 17% in spring,28% in summer,30% in autumn,and 25% in winter.The average disease duration was 5.03±0.51 years,and the longest disease duration was 40 years.76.33% of the patients had abnormal sleep,62.96% of the male patients had abnormal sleep,84.92% of the female patients had abnormal sleep;71.50% of the patients had anxiety,58.25% of the male patients and 81.16% of the female patients had anxiety.The main types of alopecia in male patients were type II,III,and IV,and the main types of alopecia in female patients were type I and II.2.Among the 207 patients,109 patients(52%)had damp heat fumigation syndrome,72 patients(35%)had liver and kidney deficiency syndrome,and 26 patients(12%)had blood heat and air dryness syndrome.The TCM syndrome type was correlated with age,course of disease,anxiety and classification(p < 0.05),but not with gender,season and abnormal sleep(p > 0.05).3.Among 207 patients,the proportion of damp-heat constitution was 33%,Yang-deficiency constitution 15%,Yin-deficiency constitution 14%,phlegm-dampness constitution 14%,Qi-deficiency constitution 10%,gentleness constitution 7%,blood-stasis constitution 3%,Qi-stagnation constitution 3%,and there were no patients with special constitution.TCM constitution was related to gender,age,course of disease and classification(p < 0.05),but not related to season,abnormal sleep and anxiety(p > 0.05).4.Constitution was related to syndrome types: gentleness,phlegm dampness,Qi deficiency,Yin deficiency,Yang deficiency,dampness and heat were related to dampness fumigation syndrome(p < 0.05),and dampness fumigation syndrome was more common in dampness and heat.Gentleness,phlegm-dampness,Qi-deficiency,Yin-deficiency and damp-heat were related to liver-kidney deficiency syndrome(p < 0.05),and liver-kidney deficiency syndrome was more common in Yin-deficiency syndrome.Yin deficiency,damp-heat and blood stasis were related to blood-heat and wind-dryness syndrome(p < 0.05),and blood-heat and wind-dryness syndrome was more common in damp-heat syndrome.5.After treatment with TCM decoction,the total effective rate of patients with damp heat fumigation syndrome was 93%,and the clinical symptom score was lower than that before treatment,and the difference was statistically significant(p<0.05).Conclusion:1.This study found that the TCM syndrome types of patients with Androgenetic alopecia were correlated with age,course of disease,anxiety,and alopecia classification.Dampness and heat fumigation syndrome is the most common TCM syndrome,followed by liver and kidney deficiency syndrome and blood heat and wind dryness syndrome.2.The body constitution of patients with Androgenetic alopecia was related to gender,age,course of disease and alopecia type.Among them,dampness-heat quality is the most common,followed by Yang-deficiency constitution,phlegm-dampness constitution,Yin-deficiency constitution,Qi-deficiency constitution,gentleness constitution,blood-stasis constitution and Qi-stagnation constitution.3.There is a correlation between TCM syndrome types and constitution in patients with Androgenetic alopecia.Patients with damp-heat fumigation syndrome have damp-heat constitution,phlegm dampness constitution,and Yang deficiency constitution,patients with liver and kidney deficiency syndrome have Qi deficiency constitution,Yin deficiency constitution,and gentleness constitution,patients with blood-heat and wind-dryness syndrome have damp-heat constitution,Yin deficiency constitution,and blood stasis constitution.4.The efficacy of oral Chinese medicine decoction in patients with damp heat fumigation syndrome is definite,and the clinical symptom score is lower than before.
