Research On Heritage Protection And Adaptive Reuse Of Taiyuan Arsenal

At present,the main research direction of industrial heritage is to promote "heritage" in domestic academic circles.In recent years,the government,enterprises,academia and the public have actively participated in the protection and adaptive reuse of industrial heritage,but there are still some shortcomings.In particular,the type of military heritage,which plays an important role in my country’s national defense construction and industrial development,needs to be further understood,excavated and explored for its unique characteristics of the times,its value,and its mode of protection and adaptive reuse.Since the Westernization Movement,Taiyuan’s century-old industrial development has left rich industrial relics,among which Taiyuan Arsenal is a "living industrial heritage".In-depth research on it has strong typicality and can provide reference for the protection and adaptive reuse of military heritage in Taiyuan City and even the whole country.On the basis of sorting out the historical overview of Taiyuan’s industrial heritage resources in the background of the Taiyuan Arsenal,this paper analyzes the history of Taiyuan’s industrial heritage resources and the status quo of protection and adaptive reuse.Heritage cognition.According to the change of the concept of international industrial heritage protection from focusing only on industrial relics to paying equal attention to material and intangible relics,this paper systematically sorts out the composition of Taiyuan Arsenal’s heritage resources from both material and intangible levels for the first time,art and other values.According to the "Operational Guidelines for the Implementation of the World Heritage Convention",systematically analyze the authenticity and integrity of the Taiyuan Arsenal based on material carriers.This study enriches the value evaluation system of industrial heritage protection and adaptive reuse in Taiyuan City,and provides new materials for academic research on industrial heritage protection and adaptive reuse.Through on-the-spot investigation,this paper analyzes the status quo of industrial heritage protection and adaptive reuse in Taiyuan Arsenal,summarizes the opportunities and challenges currently faced,and then puts forward suggestions on the protection and adaptive reuse mode of Taiyuan Arsenal from the perspectives of heritage protection and industrial heritage tourism.In the end,it summarizes the new cognition and prospect of Taiyuan’s industrial heritage protection and adaptive reuse.
