| The metaphysics of the Wei and Jin Dynasties showed a unique philosophical form due to the absorption and integration of Confucianism and Taoism.Metaphysicians have a unique interest in Lao Zhuang,and they must be called Lao Zhuang when they talk about mysticism,which is unique in the tradition of classics since the Han Dynasty.Therefore,in the academic circles,Wei and Jin metaphysics are often interpreted as Taoism,and they are called "new Taoism".However,from the perspective of the development logic of the history of Chinese philosophy(history of thought),what the predecessors said is still open to question.Based on the theme discussed in this paper—the school of Wei and Jin metaphysics,the discussion mainly focuses on the Confucian-related content discussed by representatives of metaphysics such as Wang Bi,Ji Kang,Ruan Ji,and Guo Xiang,and the key person discussed is Wang Bi,It does not include Buddhist and Taoist scholars during the Wei and Jin Dynasties.This article mainly discusses three parts.The first part discusses the inheritance of Confucian culture by Wei and Jin metaphysics from an empirical level,which is mainly reflected in Wei Jin metaphysicians’ compliance and recognition of Confucian values such as benevolence,righteousness,filial piety and other behavioral rules.;There is also the classics of Wei and Jin metaphysics itself,that is,the positioning of "metaphysicians" to themselves,and looking at the attributes of metaphysics,it can be found that they are still advocating classical studies,continuing the classics of the Han Dynasty,talking about metaphysics It will also fall on the Confucian benevolence and righteousness and the famous teaching;whether it is from the perspective of the metaphysicians in the way of life,personal image,or from their statements,it can be seen that the overall image of metaphysicians is Confucian rather than Taoist.The second and third parts are discussed from the perspective of theory and philosophy.From the perspective of the development of intellectual history,there are two historical missions in front of Wei and Jin metaphysics:one is to continue the Confucianism of the pre-Qin and Han dynasties.The second question is how to get rid of the"famous education system" that has gradually solidified and alienated.The second part is to question the origin from the perspective of its first mission.By analyzing the development of the "principal theory",we learn that Wang Bi and others in the Wei and Jin Dynasties took"nature" as the "root" of the "principal theory".It is a reaction against Xunzi(based on propriety)and Dong Zhongshu(Sanben Lun)within the Confucian lineage and a return to Mencius’s "nature essence" tradition.,making metaphysics more speculative.The third part starts from the second mission.Wei and Jin metaphysics incorporates the Confucian benevolence and righteousness and the famous education system with the "nature" view of the fundamental and final paradigm,so that the rigid famous education system can be brought to life.Wang Bi’s philosophy endows "nature" with morality,which makes it distinct from Laozi’s philosophy,because Laozi has no moral orientation in the concept of "nature",while the concept of "nature" that contains morality is Taken from Mencius’ concept of nature.In fact,the relationship between "nature" and "nature" in Wei and Jin metaphysics is one and two sides.Consistency is nature,and nature is the origin of metaphysics.It is nature,that is,spontaneous nature.To sum up,the background of Wei-Jin metaphysics is Confucianism,which is a continuation of Confucian tradition.Wei-Jin metaphysics developed Confucian ideas,so that the history of Confucian thought will not be broken and can be fully displayed. |
