| Baihu Yin-Juan was a Confucian and politician in the Chaoxian Dynasty at the end of the 17 th century.The peoriod he lived in Chaoxian Dynasty was economically depressed,politically engaged in party strife,and academically dominated by the doctrines of Zhuzi.Under this social trend,academia lost freedom and innovation,and were in a very period of extreme politicization,dogmatization and an argument of little substance.In order to solve the problems of the times,Yin-Juan advocated pragmatic and open-mindedness thought to save a society on the brink of collapse.However,Yin-Juan’s pragmatic and opened mind was condemned by the Laolun(party of old)scholars,represented by Song Shi-lie as “heretics” and “the thief of Truth”,and brought about the disaster of death.Yin Juan’s interpretati on of The Great Learning,The Doctring of the Mean,and Confucian thought of Li-Qi theory,Xin-Xing theory,and cultivation theory,had a great influence on later generations,especially Chashan Ding Ruo-yong who compiled Chaoxian practical thought.Therefore,Yin-Juan is regarded by later generations as a pioneer in pioneering a new trend of thought in the late Chaoxian Period.Shimada Keiji said,“Zhuzi’s Doctrinesy is the embodiment of East Asian culture.” To grasp the full picture of Zhuzi’s Doctrinesy,it is necessary to research Zhuzi’s doctrinesy abroad development,especially Zhuzi’s Doctrinesy,which once ruled the Chaoxian Dynasty for more than 500 years.This dissertation interprets Yin Juan’s Confucianism as a whole,and regards it as the inheritance and development of Zhuzi’s Doctrinesy abroad.Firstly,explain Yun Juan’s interpretation of The Great Learning,The Doctring of the Mean.Yin-Juan’s interpretation of the scriptures above determined the development of Neo-Confucianism and laid the foundation for its tendency to follow and “complete” Zhuzi’s Doctrinesy.Secondly,taking it as the premise of thinking,this paper expounds the content of our belief that it can embody the Confucianism characteristics of Yin-Juan from three aspects: Li-Qi theory,Xin-Xing theory and cultivation theory.In the theory of Li-Qi,we expound Yin Juan’s understanding of the relationship between Li and Qi,and the movement of Li and Qi;In the theory of the Xin-Xing,the Siduan(four origins)and the Qiqing(seven emotions),the Renxin(human mind)and the Daoxin(principle mind),Tianli(heavenly principle)and Renyu(human desire)are explained.In the theory of cultivation,we explain the related problems of Shu(reciprocity)and Xiaoti(filial and fraternal).In the conclusion,the influence of the Confucianism of Yin-Juan on later generations and the position and significance in the history of Korean philosophy are discussed.The common problem faced by East Asian philosophical circles is the in-depth interpretation of Confucian thought.Chinese Confucianism and Korean Confucianism are closely related.Through the study of Korean Confucianism,we explore the factors of Chinese Confucianism’s spread and development abroad,so as to enrich the connotation and significance of Chinese Confucianism.The research of this dissertation enrich the content of Zhuzi’s Doctrinesy,and also grasp the universality and particularity of Chinese and Korean philosophical thought to provide theoretical materials. |
