On The Creation Of The Musical Image Of "Lin Daojing" In The Opera The Song Of Youth

The opera,the Song of Youth,was first performed at Peking University in 2009 and is based on a novel by contemporary writer Yang Mo.Among the numerous intellectuals,the heroine Lin Daojing’s image is the most prominent.As a revolutionary intellectual in the 1930s,Lin Daojing’s growing course is of profound significance.This paper focuses on the musical image-building of "Lin Daojing" in the opera the Song of Youth,from its creative background,music noumenon,music image,singing skills and other aspects to be studied,the stage practice and literary works to accurately reproduce the image of characters,strive to better perform the classic role of "Lin Daojing".The article is divided into five parts.The introduction explains the reason and significance of this paper,the research status,the main research content and research methods.The first chapter is an overview of the opera Song of Youth,taking the development of Chinese opera as the starting point,introduces the author,creation background and plot outline of the Song of youth.The second chapter analyzes "Lin Daojing" in different art forms,including novel version,film version and drama version.This paper analyzes the focus of the image of "Lin Daojing" in different art forms,compares its similarities and differences,and shows the diversification of the image of Lin Daojing to the readers.The third chapter analyzes the music of the two arias of "Lin Daojing" in the opera,including the form analysis,mode tonal,melody rhythm and accompaniment characteristics,etc.,find the character image of Lin Daojing further from the music analysis.The fourth chapter discusses the music image-building of "Lin Daojing".Focusing on Lin Daojing’s main arias,in view of his own singing experience and stage practice,he made an in-depth analysis of the creation of musical image and singing skills,etc.,and sum up the meaning of "Lin Daojing" music image.The author hopes that through the research of this paper,we can inspire the music image of Lin Daojing,and try our best to annotate the characters of Lin Daojing accurately in the opera stage.
