| Art of Recreation(游艺),is the art of games.Recreational culture is an important treasure of human civilization,which has a great influence on human society.Studying the recreational life of the Korean Peninsula(朝鲜半岛)people from the4th to the 7th century can not only understand the diverse faces of the Korean Peninsula people’s lives at that time,but also the origin,development context and characteristics of various recreational activities on the Korean Peninsula at that time.At the same time,we can explore the cultural exchange between the Central Plains(中原地区)and the Korean Peninsula through the recreational culture of the Korean Peninsula.At present,there is little research on the overall recreational culture of the Korean Peninsula in domestic academic circles,so this paper mainly takes the recreational culture of the Korean Peninsula from the 4th to the 7th century as the research content.Using the research methods of historical philology,folklore,physical education and archaeology,according to historical records and physical remains,this paper systematically sorts out the types of recreational culture in the Korean Peninsula from the 4th to the 7th century,and analyzes its cultural exchanges with surrounding areas and the characteristics of recreational culture in the Korean Peninsula from the 4th to the 7th century.Firstly,this paper analyzes the historical background of the Korean Peninsula from the 4th to the 7th century.Politically,the political system of the Korean Peninsula was gradually improved from the 4th to the 7th century.By studying the political system of the Central Plains,centralization of authority centered on king was strengthened.In addition,the upper class was more fond of recreation,which promoted the extensive development of recreational activities in the Korean Peninsula from the 4th to the 7th century.Economically,from the fourth to the seventh century,the Korean Peninsula generally attached importance to agricultural production,built water conservancy projects,reduced taxes,and improved social productivity greatly.This provided a material basis for the development of Art of Recreational activities on the Korean Peninsula from the 4th to the 7th century.Under this historical background,Art of Recreational activities were widely popular in the Korean Peninsula from the 4th to the 7th century.Secondly,this paper explores the types of recreational culture in the Korean Peninsula from the 4th to the 7th century.It can be divided into three categories.Competitive game,Elegant game and Performing arts.The classification of these three categories is based on their respective characteristics.Competitive game is characterized by competition between force and physical strength,strong competition and strong antagonism.The elegant game pay more attention to the adjustment of body and mind,the development of intelligence,and is more entertaining.Performing arts.,including many performances.This kind of recreation mainly appears in banquets and festivals,and the recreational color is more intense.Finally,through the analysis of the types of recreation on the Korean Peninsula from the 4th to the 7th century,it can be seen that the recreational culture on the Korean Peninsula from the 4th to the 7th century has the following four characteristics: First,it has intense recreational characteristics.That is,recreation through games can make people relax and cultivate their sentiments.Second,advocating martial arts and skills.From the fourth century to the seventh century,the people of the Korean Peninsula attached great importance to practicing martial arts and building up their physique,with a strong martial arts ethos.Therefore,recreational culture have the characteristics of advocating martial arts and skills.The third is ritual and seasonality.From the 4th century to the 7th century,there were ancestor worship and nature worship in the Korean peninsula,so recreational activities often appeared in this form of sacrifice.Fourth,it is a distinctive feature of Confucianism.Ancient Confucian intellectuals,like ordinary people,also used games to cultivate their sentiments and relax their bodies and minds.After Confucianism was introduced into the Korean Peninsula,it also had a certain influence on its recreational culture. |
