A Study On The Application Of New Expressionist Painting Techniques In Porcelain Painting Creation

New Expressionism,as an art form that sprouted in the 1980 s and has been popular so far,is extremely huge in both its scale and its influence on future generations.Especially for Chinese painting,the introduction of New Expressionism not only brought great thinking guidance to painters,but also greatly promoted the diversified development of painting forms.Porcelain painting,as a major category of traditional easel painting,has lasted for thousands of years since ancient times.Through the use of ceramics as a medium,it uses blue and white,ancient colors,pastels,high-temperature color glazes and other ceramic decorative materials for painting expression,and finally completes the creation of the whole work by firing in a kiln.With the development of the times,the cultural exchanges between the East and the West are becoming more frequent and close,and the influx of various artistic trends makes porcelain paintings have more diverse forms of expression.Among them,high-temperature color glaze,with its novel and unique material characteristics and visual performance,is favored by ceramic artists and provides a larger and broader stage for artistic creation.Especially in China,its development momentum is very rapid,which makes the porcelain painting in the form of painting has been expanded to a considerable extent.New expressionism painting and high-temperature color glaze painting have great similarities in the form of expression.Moreover,in terms of creative ideas and artistic language,new expressionism painting and high-temperature color glaze painting are also very similar and inseparable.The research on the combination of the two has considerable academic value and significance.Starting from the perspective of new expressionism painting,this paper explores the possibility of the combination of new expressionism painting and porcelain painting,takes Dunhuang themes as the starting point,integrates Chinese thinking and Chinese feelings in the creative process,and uses the new expressionism painting form to make a new interpretation and form transformation of Dunhuang elements.The article is divided into four parts.The first three parts start from the origin and spread of New Expressionism,its influence on Chinese painting,to the combing and comparison of the relationship between new expressionism painting and high-temperature color glaze painting,and then consider how to show it in the form of new expressionism painting to carry out theoretical research and exploration in combination with the characteristics of high-temperature color glaze.The last part proves the possibility and operability of the combination of the two through professional practice,records the process of the completed works and summarizes the experience,so as to provide a new and effective creative path for porcelain painting,promote the diversified development of porcelain painting and enrich the artistic language of porcelain painting.
