With the development of information technology,more and more people are pursuing personalized,fragmented and miniaturized learning methods.Instagram is the second largest Internet social media platform in the United States,second only to Facebook.In recent years,many Chinese teaching accounts have emerged on this social media platform.However,no scholars have conducted in-depth analysis on these accounts and their Chinese teaching micro-videos.Therefore,based on The social media Instagram,this study took representative accounts as examples to observe and analyze their Chinese teaching micro-videos,in order to provide reference for social media micro-video teaching,promote the development of micro-video teaching,and bring better learning experience to learners.This study adopts case analysis method,observation method and content analysis method to analyze chillinghinese,a representative Chinese micro-video teaching account on Instagram,and analyzes and summarizes the features of the account in phonetics,vocabulary,grammar,culture,conversation and other aspects.Then analyze its advantages and disadvantages in teaching and micro video production.Through the analysis,it is found that in teaching,teachers’ teaching methods are flexible and changeable;Teaching content close to life;Short teaching time and high teaching efficiency;The teaching language is flexible and vivid.In terms of micro video,the quality of micro video is high,and the design of cover highlights the teaching focus.But at the same time,there are some problems,for example,the correlation between knowledge points is not strong;The explanation of some words lacks the support of language situation,which leads to mistakes in students’ understanding.Finally,based on the existing problems of Chinese micro-video teaching on Instagram and the advantages of Chilling Chinese Chinese micro-video teaching,the following suggestions are put forward in terms of teaching and micro-video production:In terms of teaching,the teaching language should be concise and standard;The teaching of vocabulary and grammar should be carried out in the relevant context.The teaching content considers the needs of learners to meet their individual learning needs;The arrangement of teaching content should strengthen the relevance of knowledge points before and after.In terms of micro-video production,the exposure rate of Instagram teaching micro-video should be increased to attract more audiences.Strengthen the inspection of teaching micro-video before release;Strengthen the design of teaching micro-video;Strengthen the operation of teaching accounts.
