The essay collection,Conflicting Humanities,focuses on study and experiences of Edward Said,a representative in the field of post-colonial period and discourse.The collected articles analyzed colonial legacy in different areas,like literature,art and history.Said has put forward a series of illuminating views and Orientalism is one of them.With the help of professional background relating to photography and the visual,Ariella Azoulay,the author of Chapter Eight of this book joins the discussion about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and makes an acute analysis.She analyzes the deep-rooted causes why Palestinians were exiled and isolated,and emphasizes the role western countries and Israel played.Original texts show rather high value in research of politics and philosophy.In the whole process of translation,the author of the report uses a variety of assistance tools and translation techniques to make the translation accurate and fluent.The author of the translation report mainly describes details in different phases including preparation,practice and reversion.Typical sentences are taken as examples to justify the final version of translated text.Analysis on the mentioned examples is followed by a summary.In the final section of the report,the author analyzes drawbacks during the practice and provides several solutions to avoid same problems in the future.
