An Analysis Of The Musical Style And Performance Techniques Of The Erhu Concerto "Journey To The West

The second Erhu Concerto "Going West"(hereinafter referred to as "Going West")was created in 2014.In 2019,this large-scale concerto work was adapted into a crossover version,that is,the version of double guitar,bass,erhu solo and symphony orchestra.Through some new attempts and explorations,different crossover audio-visual was brought.This work applies "fusion music" music elements to erhu performance,forming a unique pop music style and innovating with modern erhu performance skills,which is deeply loved by the majority of professional players.The writing of this paper mainly from the style of music and playing skills of two aspects of research,combined with the author’s playing experience,summed up the application of music style and techniques,so as to further elaborate and interpret the composer’s erhu music creation concept and emotional expression of the work.
