This paper discusses the background,musical language,the use and transformation of sound color of the canto "I Hope" in Mulan,a Chinese vocal work composed by Hao Weiya and lyricist by Yu Jiang.Not only discusses the sound of color and its classification,but also a brief introduction to the opera and the creation background,the heroine works for the detailed analysis of the characters,and based on the "I wish" voice color analysis,summarizes the importance of voice color use in work,through analyzing the whole song to sing,It explains how the transformation of sound color reflects the image of Hua Mulan and how it embodies its importance in the singing of the work.This paper analyzes the singing style and section,and explains why the section "I Hope" has very musical language and sound color.From the perspective of sound,if the positioning is not accurate,the following situations are likely to occur:no texture of timbre,unable to accurately express the characteristics of the work,or the integrity of the singing of the work is damaged.From the emotional level,it will affect the emotional expression of the work,promote the emotional ups and downs of the work and the audience’s empathy.The last section of this paper aims to discuss the importance of the transformation of sound color in the work from two perspectives:the clever transformation of timbre promotes the mood of the work and the influence of timbre transformation on the fluency of singing language.
