A Study On The Marriage And Love Legends From The Perspective Of The Confucian "Qing" Concept In The Middle Tang Dynasty

This thesis takes the mid-Tang Dynasty marriage and love legends as the research object,and based on the understanding of the Confucian concept of "Qing" in the mid-Tang Dynasty.It cuts into the text and examines the ideological content and artistic presentation of the midTang Dynasty marriage and love legends.The introduction part mainly explains the reason for choosing the topic of this research,the research status and deficiencies,research methods and innovations.In addition,this part also defines the related concepts of the topic,clarifies the literary and stylistic origins of the mid-Tang Dynasty marriage and love legends,and focuses on the relationship between the mid-Tang Dynasty marriage and love legends and Confucianism.The first chapter introduces the mid-Tang Confucian concept of "Qing",which lays the foundation for the analysis of the text in the next three chapters.In this part,by analyzing the era background,ideological resources,and important discussions on "Qing" of the Confucian concept in the Middle Tang Dynasty.The characteristics of this concept include paying attention to the secular human feelings,attaching importance to the true feelings,and pursuing ideal temperament.The second chapter discusses the presentation of secular human feelings in the legends of marriage and love in the mid-Tang Dynasty.In terms of ideological content,the legend of marriage and love in the mid-Tang Dynasty shows that the characters have many social attributes.The plots are based on life logic,and the materials are taken from real life.In terms of art form,the legends of marriage and love in the mid-Tang Dynasty shows complex human feelings through a flexible narrative structure.The laying of the secular life situation,with multi-perspective descriptions make the characters more three-dimensional and vivid.The third chapter discusses the highlight of the true feelings of the marriage and love legends in the mid-Tang Dynasty.In terms of ideological content,the legends of marriage and love in the mid-Tang Dynasty shows the characteristics of fully expressing the emotional activities of characters,breaking through ritual events,and expressing and infiltrating the creator’s emotions.In terms of artform,the legends of marriage and love in the mid-Tang Dynasty change thenarrative rhythm and enlarges the details of the event,and using a variety of techniques to describe the psychology of characters,and also using poetic novel language enhances the lyrical effect.The fourth chapter discusses the propaganda of ideal temperament by the legends of marriage and love in the mid-Tang Dynasty.In terms of ideological content,the legends of marriage and love in the mid-Tang Dynasty have created many ideal characters which are yearning for truth and kindness,showing the transcendence of eroticism in the conception of the story,and at the same time focusing on the ideal temperament of the characters in the orientation of praise;and in terms of art form,Chinese Tang marriage and love legends deepen the character image layer by layer,uses words to describe the ideal temperament of the characters,and expresses praise and criticism through the intervention of the narrative subject.
