The new English curriculum standards for compulsory education put forward higher requirements for oral English in junior middle school.However,the status of oral English teaching in middle school needs to be improved,and there are still many problems in traditional oral English teaching mode.Therefore,oral English teaching mode should keep pace with the times,and the teaching effect needs to be further improved.With the development of technology,diversified and integrated teaching mode has become an inevitable trend of future education development.The development of modern intelligent mobile terminal APPs make learning get rid of the limitation of time and region.Students can use the APP anytime and anywhere to practice oral English,get real-time and targeted evaluation feedback,get abundant and interesting learning resources,get personalized learning plans,and carry out autonomous learning and cooperative learning.The mobile terminal APP assisted English classroom teaching mode promotes the individuation and diversity of learning process and method,provides a new solution to the problems of traditional classroom teaching,and strengthens the availability of learning opportunities.In this thesis,based on the research of relevant literature about mobile learning and oral English teaching at home and abroad and on the basis of ubiquitous learning theory and blended learning theory,relevant questions are proposed.This thesis tries to solve the following two questions.1.Is the application of mobile terminal APP assisted English classroom teaching mode beneficial to improving junior middle school students’ oral English proficiency?2.What influence does the application of mobile terminal APP assisted English classroom teaching mode have on junior middle school students’ learning attitude to oral English learning in mobile learning?On the basis of a great deal of literature,this thesis designs mobile terminal APP assisted English classroom teaching mode and applies it in specific teaching practice to explore the teaching effects of this mode to junior middle school students’ oral English proficiency and their attitudes to oral English in mobile learning.First of all,the experiment was carried out in two parallel classes of S school H city for four months on the premise that there is no significant difference between the scores of two classes.Through data analysis and comparison of the pretest and post-test scores of the experimental class and the control class,the experimental results were explored.Next,a questionnaire survey was conducted to learn about junior middle school students’ attitudes towards oral English learning in mobile learning after using APP assisted English classroom teaching mode.Then,teachers,parents and students were interviewed to know about their attitudes towards oral English learning and mobile learning.Finally,according to the analysis and results,major findings were draw.Based on the research,this thesis draws the following conclusions.The mode of using mobile terminal APP to assist English classroom teaching is conducive to improving junior high school students’ oral English level.This model has a positive impact on the learning attitude of oral learning in mobile learning of junior middle school students.Students have a good experience of using the APP.They think the APP has interesting functions and sufficient learning materials,which can improve their interest and efficiency in learning.Students believe that APP is helpful to improve their comprehensive English ability,especially oral English ability,as well as the cultivation of learning strategies.They are willing to continue to use APP for learning.But students also reflect some problems in the process of using and put forward relevant suggestions,teachers and parents need to pay attention to and try to solve these problems.
