Pingshu is a traditional folk oral performance art that reflects the public’s thoughts and feelings and aesthetic taste.As a national intangible cultural heritage project in China,"Beijing Pingshu" gradually faded out of the public’s view in the early 21 st century with the popularization of the Internet and the increasing diversification of entertainment activities.Shan Tianfang is the representative inheritor of Beijing pingshu,he played a crucial role in promoting the development of pingshu.This paper takes the audio version of Shan Tianfang’s "San Xia Wu Yi" as the research object,uses the theory and method of oral poetics to analyze and study it,and reveals the rules and important functions of the formula and typical scenes in the narrating process of pingshu.Through the investigation of the narrating characteristics of Shan Tianfang’s "San Xia Wu Yi",the mutual relationship between folk oral creation and written literature is further clarified,so as to promote the research and development of storytelling art.This paper consists of three parts: introduction,text and conclusion.The introduction part summarizes the reasons,research status and research significance of this paper.The first chapter analyzes the formula of action,the formula of character appearance and the formula of transition in Shan Tianfang’s "San Xia Wu Yi",and explores the diversity of formula means used in the process of narrating storytelling,as well as the flexibility of formula changes in specific situations.The second chapter analyzes four types of typical scenes in Shan Tianfang’s "San Xia Wu Yi",which are the scene of character appearance,the scene of complaint,the scene of court trial and the scene of fighting,and reveals the important role of the construction of typical scenes in shan Tianfang’s storytelling process.The third chapter discusses the narrating features of Shan Tianfang’s "San Xia Wu Yi" from four aspects: the narrative perspective of "zero focus",the setting of suspense,the setting of coincidence plots and the use of modern daily expressions.
