Cao Wenxuan’s works have been translated into more than 40 languages, including English,French,German, and Korean, and the number of research articles on the translations has been increasing. With the development of cultural exchanges,Russian translations of Cao Wenxuan’s works have become active, but there is a lack of research articles on Russian translations. As a translation theory with Chinese characteristics,“translation aesthetics”has come into being against the background of the long-term combination of traditional Chinese translation theory, and is an important part of the research of Chinese translation theory. Therefore, the author tries to study the Russian translation of Cao Wenxuan’s novel from the perspective of translation aesthetics.Taking Liu Miqing’s translation aesthetics as the theoretical framework, supplemented by the translation ideas of Fu Zhongxuan and Xi Yongji, this paper analyzes the aesthetic information in Cao Wenxuan’s existing published works in Russian translation from the perspective of the subject and object of translation aesthetics and the means and effects of aesthetic reproduction with specific translation examples. This thesis is an effective supplement to the study of translation aesthetics texts, enriching the theoretical achievements of translation aesthetics, broadening the research objects of translation aesthetics theory, and providing useful references for the further promotion of Cao Wenxuan’s and other contemporary outstanding Chinese writers’ works abroad,as well as opening up a new situation for Sino-Russian cultural exchange, providing reference and guidance for future Chinese literary translation activities,so that the outstanding Chinese culture can go out of the country It is also a useful reference for further promotion of Chinese and Russian contemporary writers abroad.
