A Study On The Phonology Of Nanning Pinghua

Nanning Pinghua is the earliest extant Chinese dialect in Nanning region.As a dialect island,Nanning Pinghua not only retains some phonetic features of the Proto-Yue Dialcet,but also has obvious innovative phonetic features.Because of its long-term contact with Zhuang language,the Phonetic Evolution of Nanning Pinghua is closely related to the Phonetic Evolution of Zhuang language.By collecting materials through fieldwork and comprehensively analyzing the previous research results,this paper puts the phonological research of Nanning Pinghua into the phonological evolution of Yue dialect and Zhuang language,combs the effect of Mandarin on Nanning Pinghua,constructs the phonology of the Proto-Nanning Pinghua,and explains the evolution process of the phonological phenomenon of modern Nanning Pinghua.This paper is divided into six chapters:The first chapter mainly combs the relevant background information,introduces the previous research on Nanning Pinghua,and explains the research methods and material sources of this paper.The second chapter analyzes the initial consonant evolution of Nanning Pinghua and constructs the initials system of the Pro-Nanning Pinghua,and comes to the conclusion that the Pro-Nanning Pinghua has an independent voiced initial consonant.Ancient Jian(见)group of the opening second division has been palatalized,and the differentiation of the initial ancient Ying(影)group is the result of the evolution of non Medial.The third chapter analyzes the vowel evolution of Nanning Pinghua,constructs the vowel system of the Proto-Nanning Pinghua,and puts forward that its finals feature is the exclusive feature that distinguishes Nanning Pinghua from other Yue dialects,and it is also the basis for judging the phonetic origin of Zhuang loan words.Zhuang phonetics retain some of the finals characteristics of the Proto-Nanning Pinghua,which is an important reference for the construction of the Proto-Nanning Pinghua.The fourth chapter analyzes the tone evolution of Nanning Pinghua and constructs the tone system of the Proto-Nanning Pinghua.The Cizhuo(次浊)Rusheng(入声)tone of Nanning Pinghua is produced by its own development.The fifth chapter discusses the relationship between Nanning Pinghua and other Yue dialects,and The formation of Nanning Pinghua was earlier than the military immigrants in the Song Dynasty,and Nanning Pinghua is divided into north-west cluster and south-east cluster.The sixth chapter is the conclusion of this paper.
