During the Yongle period of emperor Chengzu of the Ming Dynasty,"Taige style" was further developed and fully formed,and prevailed in both the government and the people."Taige style" was applicable to the imperial examination,which was consistent with the standardization of the imperial examination system.At the same time,the calligraphy style of the Ming Dynasty produced the pursuit of catering to the emperor’s aesthetics and deviating from the pure theme of artistic creation.At that time,Taige style was like a rope that constrained the development of calligraphy art.However,under the negative influence of "Tai Ge style",calligraphers in the Ming Dynasty tried to innovate and find another way.Through the re study of the essential aesthetic law of calligraphy art,it gradually presents a style trend that is opposite to "Taige style" Calligraphy: it is a style trend that pursues smoothness and agreeableness,bold innovation,and expresses personal feelings.Zhang Bi is one of these many calligraphers.The article aims to explore what factors influenced Zhang Bi to form his calligraphy style.The article includes the corresponding calligraphy trend of his times,the calligraphy atmosphere and calligraphy thought,Zhang Bi’s works in different periods,Zhang Bi himself and the origins of his teachers,the breakthrough of calligraphy form innovation and the extension of Zhang Bi’s calligraphy style.
