Interesting Research On Animal Modeling In Changsha Kiln

In the Tang Dynasty,Changsha kiln,also known as Tongguan kiln,was famous all over the world for creating unique underglaze painting decoration.As an important part of product characteristic,animal modeling produced by Changsha kiln are outstanding compared with animal modeling produced by other kilns in terms of quantity and artistic attainments.The animal modeling of Changsha kiln combines the humanistic thought and aesthetic style of the Tang Dynasty,and shows unique interest in modeling,decoration and function.This paper studies the animal modeling of Changsha kiln from the point of interest.First,it summarizes the development of Changsha kiln and its animal modeling,defines the concept of "animal modeling" in Changsha kiln,and includes animal sculpture modeling and animal pattern modeling into the research content.to make the research content more comprehensive and detailed.Secondly,it compares and analyzes the animal shapes of Changsha kilns with the animal shapes of Jizhou kilns and Cizhou kilns in different periods and the animal shapes of Qiong kilns in the same period,and summarizes the artistic characteristics of the animal shapes of Changsha kilns.Thirdly,based on the traditional Chinese aesthetic concept,this paper analyzes the connotation of "interestingness" of animal modeling in Changsha kiln,and then analyzes the reasons for the interestingness of animal modeling in Changsha kiln from the perspectives of cultural thought,modeling language,and decorative techniques,and finds its interest.The value of interest is summarized.Finally,it expounds the enlightenment of the interesting research on animal modeling in Changsha kiln to the creation of modern pottery art.Combined with the local natural conditions and social development of Changsha kiln,it puts forward relevant suggestions for the inheritance and development of Changsha kiln ceramic culture,which reflects this article.practical significance of the research.
