An Analysis Of Linguistic And Singing In Lied

As a paramount part of European vocal art,Lied benefits from the abundant material sources provided by the massive excellent literary works in the history of German and Austrian literature.Besides,under the blessing of the careful creation and interpretation of this theme by German and Austrian musicians in the past dynasties,Lied,an art form that combines poetry and music,not only possesses unique musical artistic features,but also has a high poetic value.After a long period of evolution and innovation,German,the carrier of poetry,provides a guarantee for the prosperity of literary works in the field of language function,and nourishes the development of literature in terms of the expressive characteristics and cultural functions of characters as well.Thus,poetry and music complement each other and jointly boost the prosperity and development of Lied Starting from the overview of Lied and the historical development process of German,on the basis of the knowledge associated with the characteristics of German phonetics and the cultural history of the German and Austrian regions,the author discussed the language characteristics of German and the aesthetic characteristics of Lied combined with personal singing practice and experience of the song Der Lindenbaum in the Master’s Mid-term Graduation Concert.This paper was aimed to promote the improvement of the author’s own singing skills,to provide reference for others,and to form an example in theoretical research.
