This paper aims to analyze the influence of Cui Zifan’s and Zhang Peng’s life experiences and thoughts on the world,followed by a comparative study of their artistic thoughts and creative characteristics,through the comparison of the formation conditions and the analysis of the origins of their mastery,and through the similarities and differences of their painting of birds and flowers,to further understand their inheritance and innovation of Qi Baishi’s painting of birds and flowers in a large format,through the choice of subject matter,the treatment of brush and ink,the coloring style Through the comparative study of specific painting languages,such as the choice of subject matter,brushwork,coloring style,stylistic spirit,and composition.Finally,through an analysis of the artistic styles of Cui Zifan and Zhang Peng,he summarizes the inspiration of their paintings for contemporary times.Through the study of the two contemporary artists,the main objectives are:First,Qi Baishi is the peak of contemporary painting of birds and flowers,and countless people have studied him,but only a few have been able to break away to form their own face.Cui Zifan and Zhang Peng’s large-color flower and bird paintings have both different faces and the same characteristics.Through a comparative study,we can identify their similarities and differences,and then explore the artistic concept of"harmony and difference",which is also an important inspiration for contemporary flower and bird paintings.The method of research is not limited to the sorting and analysis of specific documentary materials,which play an important role in restoring the artist’s career,creative works and artistic thoughts,but should also be combined with his specific paintings to organize and summarize the analysis,through the analysis of many aspects of brush and ink,modeling,coloring,composition and subject matter,and finally through the comparative analysis method,which combines the comparative study of how they inherited and developed Qi Baishi’s large-white paintings.Finally,through comparative analysis,we study how they inherited and developed Qi Baishi’s Large-captioned flower and bird paintings.
