The aria "Mama’s Absence" is selected from the opera "Sister Angelica",the second in Puccini’s "triptych opera in one act".The aria "Mother’s Absence" focuses on the expression of emotion,and it progresses layer by layer through music,showing the changes in Sister Anjelica’s emotions.On the basis of a brief introduction to Puccini and the opera "Sister Angelica",this paper focuses on analyzing and studying the musical structure and singing treatment of the aria "Mama’s Absence".Through the study of the creation background and singing background of the work,enrich the connotation of singing and improve the singing accomplishment;through the analysis of the musical form and accompaniment of the work,improve the level of tacit understanding with the music and better express the music;through the singing skills of the work Through the analysis of this article,we can further consolidate the theoretical foundation;by writing this article,we can grasp the work as a whole,so as to obtain a better singing experience and improve singing ability in singing practice.
