Research On The Civilization Practice Center In The New Era From The Perspective Of Historical Materialism

Socialism with Chinese Characteristics has entered a new era,the Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core,has made strategic plans to build a civilization practice center in the new era in order to improve grass-roots propaganda and ideological work as well as the construction of spiritual civilization,promote the implementation of party’s theoretical policies and consolidate the party’s ruling foundation.It has included in the "14th Five-Year Plan" and the outline of vision for2035,which puts a great emphasis on "implementing the civilization creation project and expanding the construction of the civilization practice center in the new era".Since the construction of civilization practice center in the new era was proposed in 2018,500 regions across the country have entered a new stage of pilot expansion and quality enhancement,closely centering on Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era,adhere to the five tasks of promoting the study and practice of scientific theories,propagating and preaching the Party’s policies,cultivating and practicing mainstream values,enriching an active cultural life,and continuously changing customs,give full play to the role of the civilization practice center in the new era in serving,educating,uniting the masses,focusing on grass-roots ideological and political work,cultivating new talents of the times,and promoting the new trends of the times in the extensive development of various forms of civilized practice activities,as strive to achieve for the "two century goals".This paper takes the civilization practice center in the new era as the research content.From the perspective of historical materialism,it explores the theoretical origin of the civilization practice center in the new era and analyzes its value implications from the perspective of the dialectical relationship between social existence and social consciousness,the change of the main contradictions in society and the fact that the people are the creators of history.On the basis of combing the development of the civilization practice center in the new era,summarizes the exploration effect of the civilization practice center in the new era from four aspects of organization,position,team and brand buildings.Makes a field study of the 3 civilization practice centers(stations)in Jinhua area of Zhejiang Province,synthesizes the current national pilot projects status,summarizes and reflects on the problems of cognitive dissonance,weak supply of public culture,monotonous form of practice and single imbalance of factor guarantee,and analyzes the causes of the problems from the three dimensions of cognition,resources and administration.Finally,proposes the operation mechanism to improve the operation efficiency of the civilization practice center in the new era,including highlighting the political-oriented cognitive mechanism,reshaping the multi-subject supply mechanism for effective participation,display mechanism for content transformation of innovative project,and amplifying the long-term guarantee mechanism of coordination and linkage.
