| In the late 19th century,under the influence of Wagner’s chromatic movement,harmony tended to become more and more complex.With the intensification of chromatic harmony,a chromatic linear line hidden in it was bred,which is the rebirth of polyphony music.Max Reger’ s music works continue Wagner’ s chromatic characteristics,the linear part is ready to come out,and the strong chromatic makes the music lack of tonal factors in listening sense;Paul Hindemith made a further breakthrough in tonality.Although tonality was retained in his works,functional harmony no longer became his means of organizing music,and the disharmony factors in counterpoint were also very obvious;In terms of tonal control,Arnold Schoenberg completely broke its shackles and entered a new creative stage-free atonality and twelve tone music.In the final analysis,the development of this series of composition technology still lies in the production of linear voice part.However,polyphonic thinking is the essential reason for the revival of polyphonic music.This paper will take the complication of harmony in the late Romanticism as a clue,and explores the relationship between the revival of polyphonic music and the revival of polyphonic music,as well as the relationship between the creation of different music schools and composers and the revival of polyphonic music in the works of early 20 th century composers such as Reger,Hindemith and Schoenberg. |
