Exploring The Application Of Traditional Fish Patterns In Illustration

Fish decoration is an important part of China’s traditional decoration,is one of the outstanding traditional Chinese culture.Fish ornamentation is a kind of Chinese traditional ornamentation with strong representativeness.This paper takes it as the research object,based on the modeling and ethnic characteristics of fish ornamentation,through the analysis and interpretation of modern illustration design ideas,styles and expression techniques,carries on the practical research on the inheritance application of traditional fish ornamentation.The author starts from the historical and cultural background of fish ornamentation to look for the various shapes it develops and develops.This paper mainly analyzes the symbolic significance and representative characteristics of fish decoration in ethnic life,cultural significance and academic level.And then explore the application and value of traditional fish decoration in modern illustration design.From the point of view of the focus of previous research on fish ornamentation,it is mainly in the process of its historical development,and the literatures and books are more general explanations of fish ornamentation.However,the combination of the symbolic meaning,ethnic characteristics and modern illustration design of fish pattern is relatively rare.Therefore,the research on this aspect is meaningful.First of all,the paper introduces the reason,ideas,significance and methods of this research,and carries on a basic understanding of the fish decorations studied,so as to elaborate the importance of this research.Secondly,in order to conduct a more comprehensive study,the origin,evolution,development and presentation of fish decorations in minority cultures are systematically reviewed.Based on the collation of literature related to fish decorations,this paper summarizes the various forms formed by their development and the application of their inner meanings,and then describes in detail the reasons why human beings endowed fish decorations with rich cultural spirit and aesthetic views with Chinese ethnic characteristics.On this basis,the author deeply analyzed the auspicious meaning and cultural characteristics contained in the fish decorations,and found that under different circumstances,the use of different fish decorations has special significance,from which we can feel the broad and profound Chinese traditional culture.Therefore,it is of practical significance to apply Chinese traditional fish decoration as a design element in illustration creation.Through the analysis of the designer’s fish pattern illustration works in the expression form,style,the use of color and other content,combined with their own thinking and understanding,to find suitable for this topic in the application of fish pattern in modern illustration design.Through the analysis of illustration works on the theme of fish pattern,we can feel the unique perspective of contemporary designers on the application of traditional fish pattern in their works.This study attempts to break the stereotype of the use of traditional ornamentation,and analyzes the inheritance and inspiration of Chinese traditional fish ornamentation by using the thought and aesthetic system of modern illustration design.Strive to reform and reconstruction,so that the fish decorative pattern in the visual break the convention,the composition of a variety of fish decorative illustration,to achieve the inheritance of traditional culture.
