The Red Dowry—Marriage Custom Scene Interactive Display Design From The Perspective Of Digital Twin

The theme of this design is the "The Red Dowry" scene interactive display design.As a traditional folk custom in Eastern Zhejiang Province,"The Red Dowry" is listed as a national intangible cultural heritage and has a unique position in traditional marriage customs.This project is to make a restoration scene interactive display of marriage customs for The Red Dowry Museum in Ninghai County,so as to improve the display exhibition effect of the museum.According to the digital twin theory,data collection is carried out with folk custom cultural relics as the prototype,and the obtained data is modeled by digital technology to restore the historical scene which is produced by oblique photogrammetry.Realize the digital protection and dissemination of "The Red Dowry" marriage custom,improve the visitor’s experience,and provide reference for the digital scene display design of the small and medium-sized specialized Folk Museum.In the demand survey report,The Red Dowry Museum is in a period of transition from a private collection to a state-owned,which brings new opportunities for the development of the museum.The current exhibition state of the museum mostly uses static objects and clay sculpture scenes for display,and lacks digital,interactive and expandable scene expressions.Online questionnaires and on-site interviews were distributed to visitors,and they generally reported that static cultural relics could not experience historical and cultural scenes.Therefore,the restoration scene of marriage customs is a key demand at present.After investigating the relevant application of current digital technology in museum exhibitions,analyzing factors such as technology type,technical difficulty,and technical cost,and choosing the means of restoration that is more accurate,low-cost technology and easy to operate to realize the scene of "The Red Dowry" marriage custom.In the theoretical research report,based on the authenticity requirements for the restoration scene of marriage custom in this project,leading into the digital twin theory,and through the data collection of the real physical model,the corresponding virtual digital model is constructed with the obtained data to realize the corresponding twin relationship between the physical model and the virtual digital model,and use the virtual digital model for scene restoration design.The digital twin theory is widely used in cultural relic restoration,site monitoring,restoration of ancient buildings,etc.In the field of intangible cultural heritage,drawing on the research results of other scholars,the author proposes a digital design transformation model for the protection of intangible cultural heritage in museums,and analyzes the transformation mechanism of virtual digital cultural design from the three levels of iconography,mimicry and ideology to apply this mechanism in this project and provide theoretical guidance for "The Red Dowry" marriage custom scene design.According to cost control and technical feasibility,the oblique photogrammetry method is selected to realize.In the design process report,based on the requirements of The Red Dowry Museum for the restoration scene,applying the guidance of the digital twin theory,taking the dowry as the physical prototype,using the oblique photogrammetry method to collect data,and using the Reality Capture software to generate the model.Dowry,Characters and Environment are combined to restore the scene of accompany bride to bridegroom’s family on wedding day.It reflects the grandeur of "The Red Dowry" marriage custom scene,allowing visitors to experience the value and connotation of Chinese culture in a virtual scene.In response to the demand of the museum scene restoration and display,based on the digital twin theory,the oblique photogrammetry method is applied to make museum interactive display interface and highly restore the historical marriage customs of "The Red Dowry" culture.The interactive display system will be operated at The Red Dowry Museum in Ninghai County.Explore a low-cost,easy-to-operate digital scenario construction feasible solution for small and medium-sized specialized museums,and contribute to the protection and dissemination of intangible cultural heritage.
