Study On The Writing Of "plain" In Li Peifu’s Novels

In Li Peifu’s works,"plain" has always occupied the narrative core of the text.Due to the special geographical location,history and culture of the plain,the research and attention to the plain has a strong practical orientation and cultural reflection significance.For Li Peifu himself,the plain is not just the Central Plains in reality.After continuous observation and thinking,the plain has become his literary territory and spiritual home.It is a place that can constantly give him creative inspiration.Based on this,the paper analyzes the plain writing of Li Peifu’s novels from four parts:The first chapter mainly explores the plain plants as the true way of speaking.It is Li Peifu’s way to reveal the secret of plain survival by writing people as plants and observing the living state of plain life with the help of plants,so as to start the dialogue between people and land.People and plants have roots,and their survival is restricted by the environment.Plain plants are mainly grass,trees and flowers,which together constitute a variety of life landscapes in the plain.From the growth characteristics of plain plants,we can deduce the survival wisdom of plain with "living small" as the core."Living small" helps people fight against the harsh living environment,but aggravates spiritual poverty,and people fall into the situation of longing for survival dignity.The second chapter mainly explores the living state of little man living in the plain.Plain little man have no power and no ability to obtain survival capital.Being fooled and grazed is their fate,but the little people’s vitality is as tenacious as roadside weeds,so they also show the glimmer of life in the humble resistance.In reality,they bear the triple oppression of village power,family power and male power.In the text,the shaping of female image has also become a way to alleviate survival and cultural anxiety.The third chapter mainly discusses plain villages.The village is Li Peifu’s observation of "Chang" and "change" in rural China.The three villages in the "plain" and "wujiapu" are the most typical.The formation process of hujiabao reveals the secret of the social operation dominated by power,which reflects a typical local society dominated by power.Shangliang village represents the author’s two imaginations of real villages in the context of Urbanization: for those who have been bullied and have no way out,it is an inevitable choice to escape from the village and enter the city;For those who regard the lives of individuals and villages as one,the village has become an ideal moral Holy Land in their selfless dedication and sacrifice.Wuliang village reflects the dilapidated and desolate countryside found by those who leave their hometown when they look back at the countryside.The countryside is the hometown they can no longer return to,but the wandering soul is still calling for a warm habitat,so they embark on the road of rebuilding their spiritual home.The fourth chapter is the significance and dilemma of Li Peifu’s plain writing.On the one hand,the significance of Li Peifu’s plain writing is to expose and criticize the bad roots of national culture.On the other hand,in the face of severe mental trauma,Li Peifu was persistently looking for a "lamp" that could illuminate the nation,hoping that it could play a role in healing and saving.The dilemma of plain writing is mainly reflected in Li Peifu’s separation from the information society and the new problems and phenomena in the countryside as a cultural conservative.This conservative attitude has not only brought the deep connotation of the plain,but also constrained the extension of the connotation of the plain.Li Peifu needs to think about how to transcend the formed plain,get rid of the stereotyped tendency in creation,and find a new starting point.
