Application Of Illustration Art In Xi’an Subway Murals

With the rapid development of national politics,economy and urban construction,as a public transport tool to alleviate the pressure of urban ground traffic and improve people’s efficient travel,subway plays a promoting role in the development of urban construction.With the development of subway line construction and the improvement of people’s aesthetic demand for architectural space,the architectural design of subway space is no longer the satisfaction of simple practical functions.Therefore,people pay more and more attention to the visual design of subway space environment.The value of subway murals can not only improve and beautify the underground environment,but also convey the spirit of local regional culture.It is a good display of the spiritual outlook of a civilized city.Through the relevant research on the art and visual design of Xi’an urban subway murals,this paper will visually show the illustration art language with modern design style in Xi’an subway murals,and the mural theme will be presented around regional culture.Firstly,it summarizes and integrates the relevant theoretical research on mural art,modern illustration language(including development origin and current situation)and the current situation of subway murals at home and abroad;Secondly,through the investigation and Research on the murals and visual devices of Xi’an Metro Line 2,line 3 and line 4(including mural content,form,color,material,etc.),sort out and summarize,and grasp the development of subway murals in the form of questionnaire investigation;Finally,the design concept of subway mural is obtained,and the selection of elements of mural theme content,that is,regional culture,is put forward for practical design and application in the style of illustration.The design includes the design and application series of murals on the gate floor of Xi’an metro line 15,and the design of visual environment devices such as ceiling,floor tile,channel wall and cultural wall,stair elevator space,station platform and so on.The innovation of this paper is to show the combination of regional culture and modern illustration language to create a more personalized mural art of Xi’an subway and drive the development of the city.Carry forward and inherit the regional culture in the form of modern illustration art,inject new vitality into the artistic technique of the combination of regional culture and modern illustration language,and provide reference value for the artistic form of regional culture communication in the future subway mural design.
