Research On The Crisis Response Strategies Of The Communist Party Of China In The Xi’an Incident

The occurrence of the Xi’an Incident and its peaceful settlement were the pivots of the changing situation in China’s modern history.It played an important role in the formation of the national united front against Japan,and contributed to the transformation of the Kuomintang and the Communist Party of China(CPC)from civil war to unity against Japan.After the Xi’an Incident,in response to the different attitudes of domestic and foreign public opinion and various forces,at this critical juncture of unity,resistance to Japan,or division and surrender,the Central Committee of the CPC reviewed the situation,responded flexibly,and adopted different levels of crisis response strategies and achieved success.Studying the coping strategies of the CPC in this crisis concerning the survival of the Chinese nation,also has important inspiration and reference significance for the CPC to deal with the opportunities and challenges in the journey of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation in the new era.Focusing on the theme of "Research on the Crisis Response Strategies of the Communist Party of China in the Xi’an Incident",this paper systematically sorts out the CPC’s response to the Xi’an Incident by collecting and integrating domestic and foreign historical materials research on the Xi’an Incident.Analyzes the policies and practices in this special event of the Xi’an Incident,explores its reasons,and summarizes historical experience.The article first discussed the political,military and public opinion strategies adopted by the CPC in the Xi’an Incident.Based on the specific documents,it sorts out the policy change trajectory of the CPC during the Xi’an Incident,and comprehensively summarizes the different strategies adopted by the CPC.analyzed and refined the main content of them.Secondly,from the domestic and international background of the Xi’an Incident,the historical responsibility shouldered by the CPC and the appeal of the people,it analyzes the reasons and correctness of the response strategy adopted by the CPC.Finally,it summarizes the successful experience of the CPC in dealing with the crisis of Xi’an Incident.The article believes that in the process of handling the Xi’an Incident,the CPC devised strategies,adhered to the bottom line of peace,quelled internal disputes,played an important historical role in the major historical event,and finally achieved a peaceful settlement of the incident.
