The Application Of Texture Expression Language In Oil Painting

The texture of oil painting is a special sign formed by artists using oil painting and other painting materials in the picture,and it is a unique painting language.In the development of oil painting,texture plays an important role and plays an irreplaceable role.In the 19 th century,with the progress of the industrial revolution,realistic painting was greatly challenged.With the development and transformation of modern painting,it began to pay attention to the use of color,brush strokes and texture in the picture.In the works of Van Gogh,Sudin,Monet and others,there was the accumulation of pigments on the picture,and the wild strokes,which strengthened the existence of brush texture.By the 20 th century,the use of texture in the painting had gradually reached a climax,with the emergence of Kiefer,Tapies and other comprehensive material artists,and even texture became the main content of the painting.The use of oil painting texture had a profound impact on the painting creation of contemporary domestic artists.The study of oil painting texture has become an important subject that artists must face.The use of texture in oil painting has increased the visual depth and tactile feeling,and is closer to nature and humanity in the expression of formal language.In my graduation creation,I used oil painting texture language and techniques,explored and practiced the expression language of oil painting texture,and discussed the application of oil painting texture in painting creation from this starting point,and analyzed oil painting texture from four aspects: concept,development,application of texture by domestic and foreign painters,and emotion conveyed by texture,At the same time,I realized the expression and application of oil painting texture in the series of "See Again" created by the author.
