As the crystallization of the wisdom of the working people,folk houses have distinct regional and epochal characteristics.They are not only an important guarantee for people to survive in the mountains and rivers,but also an important carrier of inheriting history and culture.Folk house is a kind of spiritual symbol,which carries the homesickness and original pursuit of the painter,so it has become one of the important themes of landscape painting.First of all,after sorting out and analyzing the elements of dwellings in traditional landscape paintings and the schemas of the theme paintings of modern and contemporary dwellings,the author finds the diversification and formalization of their expression languages.At the same time,the author explores the regional,epochal and national characteristics contained in the landscape paintings of folk house themes by sorting out the historical context of the transformation of the residential schema from the spot-like existence to the main form.Secondly,the author summarizes the regional characteristics and aesthetic connotation of the Daliangjiang ancient village,so as to explore the creative inspiration.Finally,based on the author’s sketching experience,the author applies the representative creative objects and appropriate materials to the creation in order to find the painting language that the author is good at.The natural and simple beauty of the ancient villages of Daliangjiang displayed in the works can awaken the nostalgia in the hearts of contemporary people.
