Opera carries the unique and wonderful story of a nation,embodies the spirit of the Chinese nation and nourishes the blood and soul of the Chinese people."Da Ping Diao",also known as "Ping Diao","Da Bang Opera" or "Da You Bang Opera",is a very distinctive local opera which is active in north Henan,south Hebei and southwest Shandong.On May 20,2006,It was approved by The State Council to be included in the first batch of national intangible cultural heritage list.With the gradual formation of the coexistence of cultural and aesthetic diversity,as well as the diversification of the development of communication media,the pattern of drama consumption levels began to change,as a local opera is facing great challenges.First of all,the popularity of Dapingdiao is far less than that of other traditional operas selected in the same batch.Secondly,the biggest difficulty for rare operas is that no one watches and inherits them in local areas,and the survival of Dapingdiao opera troupe has been threatened.Finally,the continuous spread of COVID-19 in the past two years has had a great impact on the troupe’s performance and restricted the development of The Troupe.This paper takes Yanjin County Dapingdiao Troupe as the research object,makes a comprehensive investigation of the troupe,objectively analyzes its existence and internal composition,combs its development process,restores the true state of Dapingdiao troupe as far as possible,and explores the origin of its tenacious vitality.Dapingdiao has been performing in rural areas for a long time,relying on the local temple fair culture and incorporating the aesthetic characteristics of local people’s love for "excitement".Most of the plays are "Robe belt opera",which has a strong mass base and rustic flavor.Through the interviews with the head of the troupe,the representative inheritors of intangible cultural heritage and the cast and crew,it is found that the economic operation of the troupe has been low in recent years,and the income of the cast and crew is not optimistic.On this basis,the yanjin County Dapingdiao Troupe and other dapingdiao troupe were compared to understand the current situation of the folk opera market,explore the changes of folk activities,and put forward some suggestions for the shrinking performance market,the troupe’s lack of actor training mechanism,lack of innovation vitality and other problems.It has reference significance to improve the influence of drama and realize the sustainable development of troupe.
