| "The Invisible Guardian" is an interactive video work guided by the promotion of the spirit of "red culture",and it is also a representative work of red culture video with distinctive innovation that has emerged in recent years.Due to the government’s emphasis on "red culture" in recent years,a large number of related works have appeared. However, due to the historical objectivity of red cultural images and the limitations of video form, most works have the problem of homogeneous content and monotonous form. The interactive narrative method of "Invisible Guardian" not only expands the boundaries of red cultural image narration and becomes a positive exploration of the form innovation of red cultural video works, but also provides new ideas and ways for how to better attract new media users to "carry forward red culture, inherit red genes, and cultivate patriotic feelings" in the new media environment. Therefore, this paper will take semiotic narration as the theoretical basis to conduct a case study of "Invisible Guardian",explore how its interactive narrative unfolds, and what characteristics its users’ participation and interaction present,in order to provide meaningful reference for the "double-effect" creation and innovation of red cultural video works. This paper first explains the narrative of red cultural images, and finds that the narrative of red cultural images has the problems of content homogeneity and monotony of form.Based on this, the interactive narrative process of the red culture image "Invisible Guardian" is analyzed in detail: firstly, starting from the narrator of "Invisible Guardian",the narrator composition of the image includes the source narrator and the personified narrator, and the narrative framework of the image is also an important part of the narrative. Then, the important role of users as personified narrators in image narration is analyzed in detail, due to the development of the Internet, user needs have increased,so that users’ status in the process of image dissemination has been improved, which allows users to not only have a significant impact on image narration, but also improve the communication effect in the red culture in the image.Secondly, this paper analyzes in detail the construction of the characters in "Invisible Guardian" under interactive narration, explains it from the three perspectives of identity, narrative and image, and promotes the narrative development of characters in the story by studying the identity formation of characters,so as to present a red cultural image with red cultural characteristics. In the fourth chapter of the article, the construction of the plot of "Invisible Guardian" under the interactive narrative is studied, including the study of the time and the world where the plot is located, the interactive construction of the image plot is perfected from the perspective of time and the world, and the integration of red culture in the image plot is perfected from the perspective of the world. Finally, based on the research of the above three directions, this paper provides thinking on the construction of red culture in the process of image narration, and believes that interactive construction has a positive effect on the spread of red culture.Through the research of this paper,it can be found that the interactive narrative of "Invisible Guardian" emphasizes the deep participation and multi-faceted deep interaction of users, and its interactive narrative is mainly reflected in the composition of the narrator, character narrative and plot narrative, showing the characteristics of co-narrative,co-shaping and mutual pushing.By changing the user’s narrative identity, users can become narrators of images, thereby enhancing the user’s sense of participation and experience.During the process of user participation in narration, through constantly integrating red cultural elements, users can be influenced by red culture while influencing image narration. On the one hand, users’ willingness to accept red cultural images can be enhanced, and at the same time, the dissemination of red culture can be expanded. |
