| In the era of big data,my country’s Internet companies have developed rapidly,and a number of Internet giants have emerged,which have accumulated a large amount of user data in the course of many years of operation.In order to maintain their dominant position in the market,these companies take advantage of the huge amount of data they possess to carry out a series of data monopoly behaviors,such as:some software reads user files without the user’s permission;Use user data analysis results for advertising push;use data algorithms to analyze users’ purchasing power to implement price discrimination;set market entry barriers to competitors and endanger market competition order.Taking Tencent as a case,this paper studies the data monopoly behavior of enterprises from the perspective of business ethics,analyzes the characteristics and causes of data monopoly based on the previous research results and related theories,and studies its existing ethical dilemma and current situation.Some governance countermeasures finally put forward governance suggestions for data monopoly.The research conclusions of this paper are as follows:First,the formation of the ethical dilemma of data monopoly is mainly caused by its violation of user privacy and social fairness.It can be mainly divided into the following five categories:illegal collection of data and privacy,data security and privacy,data abuse and privacy,data algorithms and price discrimination,data hegemony and social justice.Second,the violation of data monopoly on social justice is mainly caused by data.Algorithms and data hegemony.The harm of data algorithms is reflected in price discrimination,and users of the same service are priced differently.Data hegemony is manifested by refusal to trade and exclusive clauses,disrupting the normal order of competition in the market.Third,the governance of data monopoly needs to start from the protection of privacy rights and the maintenance of social fairness.While paying attention to the protection of user rights and interests,it is also necessary to maintain social fairness.This paper puts forward three suggestions for the governance of data monopoly:First,the government should improve the laws and policies related to the Internet market,clarify the ownership and use rights of personal data,protect user privacy and regulate the market order.Secondly,enterprises should strengthen business ethics education for management and staff,establish a talent team with high-level business ethics,and establish a data label library to enhance the protection of user data.Finally,individual users should improve their awareness of personal privacy protection,understand relevant national policies and corporate privacy policies,and take timely measures in the face of behaviors that damage personal rights and interests. |
