Research On Thematic Sculpture Creation Of "Anti-Epidemic"

Theme sculpture as an important carrier of the artistic achievements of our country,is the important subject and component of the history of sculpture of new China,and is the concentrated reflection of the national ideology and mainstream aesthetic value.As a social hot issue in recent years,the novel coronavirus epidemic has attracted wide attention.Therefore,a large number of thematic sculptures with the theme of "fighting the epidemic" have also appeared,showing distinct characteristics.This paper takes the creation of "anti-epidemic" thematic sculpture as the research theme,mainly expounds the definition of relevant concepts of thematic sculpture and its characteristics of The Times,narrative and publicity,and sorts out its development context.Then,based on the relevant theoretical research of thematic sculpture,by listing representative works data,the creation phenomenon of anti-epidemic thematic sculpture is analyzed,focusing on the creation form and creation characteristics of "anti-epidemic" thematic sculpture creation,and concluding conclusions.At the same time,the author makes a personal subjective understanding and analysis of the spirit connotation of the time contained in the thematic sculpture creation of "anti-epidemic" based on relevant information.Finally,through the sculpture creation practice series "Memory",I introduced my thematic sculpture creation of "fighting the epidemic" in detail,showing my admiration for heroes during the fight against the novel coronavirus and my eternal memory of the great spirit of fighting the epidemic.
