On Alai’s Novel ’Jicun Epic’

The thesis includes three parts:introduction,text and conclusion.The text is divided into four chapters.The first chapter explores the original intention of Alai’s creation and the theme of the novel ’Jicun epic’.The original intention of Alai’s creation is to remove the charm,uncover the mysterious veil of the other for the Tibetan,and show the real and changing Tibetan,Tibetan villages and Tibetan people.The theme of the novel’ Jicun Epic’is ’ Tibetan experience and feelings under the great changes of the times’,which is presented based on the fate of the village in the novel.The second chapter analyzes how Alai shows the fate of the village through the fate of people and things in the novel.The main characters in the six chapters support the skeleton of the fifty-year village chronicle as a whole,and connect the main context of the fifty-year village chronicle;the secondary characters in the six chapters fill the flesh and blood for the fifty-year village chronicle,making it full and substantial;the objects in the notes of six things and the people in the sketches of six characters show the little stars in the historical nuances.The third chapter focuses on the history of ecological changes in the history of village changes in the past 50 years.Ecological changes also reflect the changes in the fate of villages.The initial harmony between man and nature is reflected in:the beautiful coexistence of man and nature,the comfort and strength of nature,the way of taking and the degree of use;then people began to destroy nature.They trampled flowers,swung axes into the forest,and shot at monkeys.In the end,some people awakened their ecological consciousness and began to atone for nature with actions,trying to restore ecology.The fourth chapter focuses on the analysis of how the artistic strategy in ’Jicun Epic’makes the form of the novel meaningful and presents the theme of the novel in form.The fragmentation of the structure of the novel enables the theme of the novel to be presented in both macro and micro aspects;the use of a large number of symbolism in the novel eventually points to the theme of the novel.The looming narrator ’ I ’ also makes the theme of the novel more real and deeper.
