The Chinese Reading Tutorial has undergone two revisions since its publication.This article selects the 1999 and later versions of the textbook,the 2009 and 2018 versions of the textbook as the research objects,and uses quantitative research and comparative analysis methods to conduct two comparisons from the aspects of the textbook text,vocabulary,exercises,layout,etc.Systematically compare the arrangement of these three versions of textbooks,deeply understand the changes and development trends in textbook compilation,and analyze the reasons for textbook revisions.Based on the results of comparative analysis,it is concluded that the significant difference between the 1999 version and the 2009 and 2018 versions is due to the rapid progress of the era and changes in teaching concepts during the decade 1999-2009.The small difference between the 2009 version and the 2018 version is due to the fact that the pace of changes in the times is not as fast as in the previous decade,and the textbook focuses more on improving details.Based on the changes in the revised textbook,some thoughts have been generated and specific suggestions have been put forward for the compilation of the textbook.
