Symbolic Application Of New Year Pictures In Ceramic Decoration Design

The image of the New Year painting is an important part of Chinese traditional culture.After a long process of development,it has gradually formed a unique aesthetic style and has been widely spread among the people.New Year pictures have rich auspicious meanings and cultural connotations.Therefore,it is of great significance to study the symbolic application of New Year pictures in ceramic decoration to inherit and carry forward Chinese traditional culture,and to enrich the artistic expression in ceramic decoration.This paper studies the symbolization of New Year pictures,discusses the theme and expression techniques of New Year pictures,analyzes the characteristics of the theme of New Year pictures and the presentation of the meaning of New Year pictures,and then explores the symbolization of New Year pictures from three aspects : shape,color and meaning.The characteristics of the image and the way of symbolization of New Year pictures are put forward.In the specific creative practice,ceramics are used as the carrier,combined with the theory of symbolic image of ceramic New Year pictures.In the process of creation,according to the needs of ceramic decoration,the image of New Year pictures is symbolically processed,and various processes such as color glaze,five-color underglaze and new color on glaze are used to paint on the body.So as to explore the symbolic expression of New Year pictures in ceramic decoration,and create works of art that fit modern life and aesthetic concepts.
