A Study On The Description Of Makeup In Song Ci Poetry

To a large extent,female makeup reflects the comprehensive effect of economic,political,cultural and other factors of an era.It can be said that it is an epic highlighting the national spirit and cultural style.The description of makeup in Song Ci not only restores the various features of women’s makeup in Song Dynasty,but also shapes the female image and expresses the feelings of women from the perspective of literature,and conveys the aesthetic tendency unique to Song Dynasty.This paper takes the description of makeup in Song Ci as the research object,and analyzes the unique value of women’s makeup in Song Ci respectively from four dimensions: makeup style,image shaping,aesthetic tendency and poetic style of Ci.The thesis is divided into the following five parts:Firstly,the introduction mainly explains the research value,significance,current situation and research scope of makeup description in Song Ci.The scope of makeup description involved in this paper is clarified,the current research status of the Song Dynasty makeup description is combed and summarized,and the value and significance of this study is clarified.The first chapter mainly explores the makeup style in Song Ci.On the basis of the makeup of the previous generation,the Song Dynasty women made innovations and formed a complete set of makeup styles with unique Song characteristics.No matter the daub of powder,the outline of eyebrow,or the decoration of mother-of-pearl,the ornament of face,all highlight the unique charm of the Song Dynasty women.Based on Song Ci works,this chapter explores the specific form of makeup in Song Dynasty through the interpretation of Ci works and the evidence of historical documents.The second chapter analyzes the inner relation between makeup description and female image building in Song Ci.Makeup is not only the modification of a woman’s beauty,but also a symbol of her status.To some extent,it can also reflect a woman’s inner feelings.This chapter mainly analyzes the descriptions of the makeup of women of different ages and identities in Song Ci works,compares the similarities anddifferences,and interprets the different feelings of sorrow,sadness and loneliness of the hero.The third chapter interprets the aesthetic tendency of Song Dynasty reflected in the description of makeup in Song Ci.Female makeup reflects the aesthetic taste and social fashion of a certain period and a certain region.The changes in the description of makeup in Song Ci works reveal the changes in the aesthetic direction of the Song Dynasty,which are mainly reflected in three aspects: fresh and elegant makeup,restrained and reserved makeup and novel and strange makeup.Based on the background of the Song Dynasty,the characteristics of the Song culture and the change of the literati ethos,this paper analyzes the internal reasons for the formation of aesthetic tendency.Chapter four discusses the poetic marks of the Song Dynasty makeup description from the perspective of the development of ci style.Standing on the vertical axis of the development of ci history,this paper explores the evolution of Ci style contained in the description of makeup makeup,which is mainly manifested in three aspects: the writing style from meticulous brushwork to freehand brushwork,the orientation of emotional thoughts from general to self-orientation,and the value function from simple to diversified.
