Employees’ perceptions of organizational politics will have a negative impact on employees’ work behavior,so reducing the level of employees’ perceptions of organizational politics is the key to improving organizational effectiveness.Using the Perceptions of Organizational Politics Scale,the Work Procrastination Behavior Scale,the Work Alienation Scale,and the Collectivist Scale,through the convenience sampling method,484 employees in Harbin,Jilin,Changchun and other places were selected to distribute questionnaires to the subjects.conclusion as below::(1)Perceptions of organizational politics,job procrastination,job alienation,and collectivism have significant differences in different demographic variables: perceptions of organizational politics have significant differences in age,unit nature,working years,and position;job procrastination has significant differences in age,working years,and There are significant differences in positions;job alienation has significant differences in age,working years and positions;collectivism tendency has significant differences in age,working years and positions.(2)Employees’ perceptions of organizational politics have a significant positive predictive effect on employees’ job procrastination behavior,that is,the higher the employee’s perceptions of organizational politics level,the higher the employee’s job procrastination behavior.(3)Employees’ perceptions of organizational politics have a significant predictive effect on employees’ job alienation,specifically: employees’ perceptions of organizational politics significantly positively predicts employees’ job alienation.(4)Employees’ job alienation has a significant predictive effect on their work procrastination behavior,specifically: employees’ job alienation significantly and positively predicts their work procrastination behavior.(5)Employee job alienation plays a mediating role between employee perceptions of organizational politics and employee job procrastination behavior,that is,employee perceptions of organizational politics can positively affect employee job procrastination behavior by increasing employee job alienation.(6)Employee collectivism tendency plays a mediating role between employee perceptions of organizational politics and employee job alienation.The lower the employee collectivism tendency,the stronger the positive impact perceptions of organizational politics on employee job alienation;while the higher level of collectivism tendency in this case,perceptions of organizational politics have no significant predictive effect on job alienation,thus weakening the positive impact of organizational political perception on employees’ procrastination behavior.Based on the above findings,specific recommendations are made to reduce the level of perceptions of organizational politics and thus employee work procrastination behavior,including:(1)Face up to the existence of political behavior in the organization;(2)Strengthen cultural construction and correctly guide employee behavior;(3)Improve job evaluation to ensure fairness and transparency in salary and promotion.
