A Study On The Heroic Image Construction And Audience Identification In Changjin Lake

In recent years,Chinese movies and TV dramas about military history have been produced frequently,which have won unanimous praise from the vast audience and achieved amazing box office results.Military historical films and TV plays play an important role in constructing hero image,spreading hero culture and strengthening hero image identification.The essence of film and television is a form of artistic expression.Although most of our military historical films and TV dramas are based on real historical materials and stories,they still have the element of imagination and can build an imaginary community.The modern history of China is a history of blood and tears,torn by wars,but also the emergence of countless heroic figures,their spirit inspired generations of Chinese people.The stories of these heroes are often adapted into movies and TV plays.However,how movies and TV plays build the hero image,convey the revolutionary spirit of heroes and construct the identity of hero image,and what rules and influencing factors are in this,it is a topic worth discussing.With the changes of The Times,the heroic images in Chinese military historical movies and TV dramas have evolved from the "lofty" in the early days to the "down-toearth" in the present.The unadorned,real and friendly heroic images are more able to enter the hearts of the audiences and arouse their emotional resonance.This paper takes the military historical film Changjin Lake,which will be released during the National Day Holiday in 2021,as the research object,and uses literature research,text analysis,inductive deductive analysis,statistical analysis and other methods to conduct in-depth research.This thesis systematically analyzes the construction of military image and the social value of hero image in Chinese military history movies and TV dramas,and finds out the law of its change.The hero image in Changjin Lake is introduced from the hero image constructed in film and television dramas of the same genre,and the hero image constructed in Changjin Lake is compared with the previous hero image in film and television.After a detailed analysis of the heroic image constructed in Changjin Lake,this thesis analyzes the process and strengthening path of the construction of the heroic image identity by using the relevant theories and models of semiotics and narratology.Then,questionnaire survey,in-depth interview and network comment analysis are used to explore the specific content of audience’s identification with the hero image in Changjin Lake.Finally,according to the research results,it summarizes the response,communication significance and social value caused by the military historical movie Changjin Lake,from small to large,and puts forward reasonable suggestions for better play of the social impact and communication value of the military historical movie and TV drama.
