The Image Modeling And Research Of “Miss Yu” In “A Wasp” Based On Stage Action

Dramatic performance art is "the art of action".The task of actors on the stage is to create a living,fleshed character image,this process cannot be separated from the actors’ action on the stage.The drama "A Hornet" is the debut work of Mr.Ding Xilin.It describes the story of a pair of young people affected by the wave of new cultural thoughts after the May 4th Movement,fighting against their parents with traditional thoughts for the freedom of marriage.Based on Stanislavski’s "action theory" and taking the role of "Miss Yu" in "A Hornet Bee" as an example,this paper firstly analyzes the image of the role of "Miss Yu" in the prescribed situations,character conflicts and role tasks of the script,and then analyzes the basic principles of stage action: life,authenticity and consciousness.Finally,in connection with my own performance practice,this paper expounds the process and methods of shaping character images through stage actions respectively from internal psychological actions,external verbal actions and external physical actions,striving to provide certain guidance for the rehearsal of graduation works,so as to create a character image on the stage.In the end,it reflects on the deficiencies and makes a summary,hoping to provide certain ideas for performers who are always unable to enter the heart of the characters during the performance.
