| Francis Poulenc(1899-1963),as an important French musician in the 20 th century,was a member of the Six-member Group and one of the representatives of the neo-classical music school.Eight Nocturnals,composed from 1929 to 1938,is one of the important masterpieces of his mid-term piano works.Eight Nocturnals contain eight pieces of music similar to piano sketches,which embody neoclassical music style,romantic music style,popular music style and French national music style from musical structure and musical language features.In order for the performer to better grasp the work,the author will analyze the composer’s social life background,work style and performance,and provide some references and suggestions for the performer.This paper explores the style characteristics and playing techniques of Planck’s Nocturnes,so as to provide some references for how to play Planck’s music.It is hoped that more domestic music practitioners and piano students will pay more attention to this 20 th century composer,so that everyone can further understand,know and play Planck’s music. |
