On The Artistic Characteristics And Singing Skills Of Tenor Aria In Puccini And Rossini’s Operas

Puccini and Rossini,as famous Italian musicians in the 19 th century,had great attainments in opera and left many outstanding works.Puccini’s opera creation has experienced three stages,from early romanticism,to the integration of musical elements in the middle,and then to the later realism.Rossini’s opera creation is romantic from beginning to end,but the expression of romanticism is different during this period.This paper selects the segment of the tenor Aria "Starry Stars" in Puccini’s Opera Tosca,and compares it with Rossini’s tenor Aria "Languir per una bella",which reflects the differences between the two in the dimensions of artistic characteristics and singing skills,so as to provide some reference and help for the singers of the two works in performing and understanding the connotation of the works.
