Practice Research On Drama Illustration Disign

Youyangyang Opera,also known as Tujia Yang Opera and face shell opera,is one of Chongqing’s local dramas with a long history and strong religious color and local customs.Its unique drama dress up has a high research significance in modern illustration design.With the development of The Times,in order to better promote and protect Youyangyang Opera,the traditional folk drama images are used in illustration design,forming systematic visual elements,in order to radiate the new vitality of Youyangyang opera and promote the inheritance and development of traditional culture.This topic takes the application of character image and story plot in illustration design of Youyangyang Opera "Counterinsurgency and Recruit Family" as the research object,transforms dynamic art into static image,solidifies the scene in the drama in a more stable visual form,and achieves the protection of regional traditional culture.Secondly,this paper finds out practical strategies and methods through the analysis of theoretical status and relevant illustration cases.On the one hand,guided by the principles of nationality,modernity and integrity of the design,the visual reconstruction of Youyangyang Opera is carried out to enrich the hierarchical performance effect of the picture and make the picture more visual impact.On the other hand,extraction and image design methods are used to construct the picture of the drama plot,to show regional folk characteristics and increase the public’s interest in illustration and identity,so as to further promote the publicity and development of Youyangyang Opera.This paper is a combination of theoretical analysis and design practice,from the perspective of traditional folk drama to dig the meaning of illustration images,to show the feasibility of dynamic art and static art conversion between the two,to promote the cultural and artistic value of Youyang Yang Opera,but also to provide some thinking for the future development of Youyang Opera.
