| "Writing is not an honor for me,but self-healing." This is Mai’s self-definition of literary creation.From this definition,it can be seen that the traumatic experience in Mai’s life is an important motive for his literary creation.Most of the Mai Jia’s thinking about life and destiny comes from the trauma of family feelings,the pain of political identity,and the trauma of human alienation.From the perspective of trauma theory,this paper discusses the formation of Mai Jia trauma,the performance of trauma in works,and the redemptive significance of literary writing to Mai Jia trauma.The paper is mainly divided into three parts: introduction,main text,and conclusion.Introduction: the introduction mainly discusses the reasons and significance of the topic selection,sorts out the relevant research results of Mai Jia,defines the relevant theories and concepts of trauma research in literature,constructs research ideas with the help of trauma theory,psychoanalytic theory,psychology and other theories,points out the research innovation points of this thesis,and puts forward the value and significance of this paper.The main part: from the formation of Mai’s traumatic experience,the specific performance in the text,and the redemption of literature for its trauma.The first chapter examines the various traumatic experiences in Mai’s life and how trauma led him to think and inspire his literary endeavors.This chapter mainly analyzes the three aspects of emotion,identity and human nature,and deeply explores the trauma of the Mai Jia.Firstly,it analyzes the emotional damage caused by the lack of fatherly love and family bad luck,and secondly,analyze the trauma of the human experience brought to the Mai Jia by the low political background and the closed space of the military.Finally,it analyzes the identity trauma caused by the special political environment and the lack of hometown.Chapter 2 explores the specific textual representation of traumatic experience in Mai’s literary creation.Stimulated by various traumatic experiences,Mai wrote to record trauma and resolve it.First,the traumatic experience gave the Mai Jia a deeper experience of loneliness,identity and humanity.Second,traumatic experiences allow him to create complex fathers,innocent children,and powerful and lonely heroes.Finally,traumatic experience gives him unique performance in narrative perspective,spatial setting,and imagery setting.Chapter 3 discusses the significance of Mai’s traumatic experience to his literary writing.This chapter analyzes the healing effect of literature on the Mai Jia’s wounds from three aspects:the motivation of Mai’s writing,literary ideals,and the redemptive significance of trauma writing.First of all,the Mai Jia learned to get rid of loneliness and heal their inner scars in literary writing.Secondly,in literary healing,the Mai Jia found their own literary ideals and created "Ideal Valley".In the end,in order to get rid of the predicament and find the value of the individual,the Mai Jia completed the spiritual redemption in the process of human redemption,reconstructing self-identity,and dissolving loneliness.Conclusion: The Mai Jia has gradually achieved reconciliation with itself in literary writing,and can calmly write memories such as hometown,history,and father in "The Sea of Life".Through the trauma writing of the Mai Jia,it can be seen that literature does have a certain healing effect on trauma.Finally,the shortcomings of the paper are pointed out. |
