| Marx believed that in the 19 th century,large-scale industrial production had adopted the machine system,which was the objectification of social "general intelligence".Although it improved the labor production efficiency,it reduced the labor status of workers and caused the exclusion of workers.Marx dialectically analyzed the duality of technology,firstly affirming the positive value of the development of science and technology to promote social progress,and at the same time criticizing the essence of technology as a tool for capital to grab profits and squeeze the working class,forming Marx’s "technology criticism" thought,which is still of great significance to criticize the alienation of contemporary AI.Although there are many differences between today’s AI dissimilation and the industrial age’s technology dissimilation,it still belongs to the category of technology dissimilation.With the advent of the age of intelligence,AI technology began to penetrate into all aspects of social production and life.However,because the development of AI technology is subject to capital control,its value multiplication is very obvious,which leads to the one-sided development of AI.With the further development of intelligent technology,ordinary workers have been driven out of the social labor market and become "useless class." AI,as a new social "general intelligence",has compressed the space for human survival and development,aggravated the crisis of social conflicts,and further threatened the survival of human society.Applying Marx’s "technology criticism" thought to examine AI’s alienation,we should not only affirm the positive role of AI in promoting social development and liberating people,but also overcome the negative impact brought by AI’s alienation,establish the institutional barrier to restrict the disorderly development of AI,eliminate people’s worries and fears,and guarantee the correct way of AI’s development. |
