Study On Harmony Techniques In Wang Lisan’s Music Creation

Wang Lisan created a large number of works in his life,most of which are piano works.Almost every one of his works includes the whole piano,and on the basis of rich vocal range,the pianist has high requirements.The composer’s band thinking is all contained in a piano,and the piano is created as a whole big band.Most of his works are presented on piano but with different styles.He not only combines folk music with Western composing techniques,but also integrates traditional Chinese culture,such as poetry,painting and opera,to form Wang Lisan’s "Chinese Piano Works".This paper mainly focuses on the analysis of harmonic techniques in Wang Lisan’s music creation and tries to interpret the composition of pitch in his piano works from the Angle of harmony.The paper is divided into five parts.The first part--introduction,mainly discusses the reason of the topic,the current research status,the author plans to use the research method;The second part--Wang Lisan’s creation style,from two aspects of discussion: 1.Wang Lisan harmony techniques and its cultural background,music expression content of the relationship;2.Genres,creative techniques and mode scales commonly used by Wang Lisan in his creation;The third part--chord structure and harmonic progress,through the harmonic structure,harmonic analysis of Wang Lisan’s piano works from the traditional and acoustic perspective;The fourth part--tonality expansion and individual creation,focusing on the application of tonality in Wang Lisan’s piano works,analyzes the development of tonality and the characteristics of Wang Lisan’s individual creation.The research methods are:traditional analysis method,modern harmonic technique development,twelve-tone technique and so on;The fifth part--analysis of Wang Lisan’s works,the author selected five representative works of Wang Lisan for detailed analysis,the five works are: 1.Li He Poetry two--Dream Day,The King of Qin Drinking,this work is Wang Lisan’s twelve tone work;2."Higashiyama Kuiyi Painting",this work is inspired by the painter Higashiyama Kuiyi painting,adding Japanese mode scale;3.He Shan Collection-#F Shang Calligraphy and Qin Rhyme,this work is Wang Lisan’s representative fugue,showing the "Chinese style fugue";4.Nocturne and Morning Song--Three Quatrains,which is the only vocal diverge created by Wang Lisan,which adds many modern harmonic techniques;5.Prophet Collection--Prophet,the composer pays tribute to different people or things respectively,and all add the composer’s own style.These five works represent works created by Wang Lisan in different periods and backgrounds,which are extremely representative.
